It's a great program. Our gymnastics team coach (Tim Preston) did it when he attended UMCP, and says it was a great experience. Funny to see shots of the gym - we rent that gym each year in February and host the Mid-Atlantic Invitational gymnastics meet in that room.

Took my son and members of his gymnastics team to see Gymkana perform in April. They are amazing and stated that all members of the Gymkana team have to sign a contract stating that they will remain drug, alcohol and tobacco free to perform on the team. What a commitment and a great platform to set and to share with children they perform for....

Whoever directed the camerawork for this episode should be fired. So many of these acts had spinning camera shots, shots that actually blocked more than they showed, and shots that made you dizzy to see it. I feel like the audience missed a good portion of this act just because we couldn't see what was going on. :(

What makes this great is that they're not only great gymnasts but they made it in rhythm to the music which made it into an art form. The music choice was AMAZING. It's the Porter Robinson Remix of The Edge Of Glory!! His remixes are fantastic and this act was fantastic!!

As a gymkana members and having performed in this act I am beyond impressed by the strength of the ladder holders. It takes unreal amounts of strength to be a ladder base and typically the show never performs with switching holders or having just one guy holding it at a time. kudos to the amazing Gymkana men!

@tjw1963 That's not the only way to interpret what Sharon said. She never mentioned Youtube. Sandou Russian Bar Trio are professionals because they make their living as acrobats. So does Stephen Retchless. Gymkana is made up of college students who do this on the side while they study. This is not their profession so they are not professionals. That makes them amateurs (very skilled ones).
