How do you like the 17hmr pistol. I've been thinking about buying a rifle but im interested in the pistol now. What is the brand model and how do you like it. Good video.
@nicktasty I really like 17 hmr. My brother killed a coyote at 125 yards with a bolt action Marlin rifle chambered in the 17hmr. I like the pistol as well, it shoots really good, 100 yard targets with the revolver are no problem (but of course it has a 12" barrel). The 17 revolver in this video was discontinued by Taurus but you can still find them every now and then. The model on the revolver in this video is either Model 2-170129 or M-17-12 (I can't remember for sure which it is). Thanks!
@matthewdruid420 Well, I’m not mute, but I did learn how to read (unlike you). Why do you think that before each shot there is a caption above the each target that allows the viewer to see which gun is being fired at that particular instant? It’s odd that the other 11,000 + people that have viewed this video haven’t had any trouble figuring out which gun is firing and when… If you don’t like my videos then don’t watch them, if you can’t read then get Hooked On Phonics.
@LAYITLOOSE lol, I raise several watermelons each year, and that particular year all of the watermelons in our communtiy were no good. Maybe I won't have to shoot any this year :)
@BigAssROMAN Yes it is a great cartridge. I just put a scope on it the other day and took it squirrel huntin'... I shot one with it and it really blows em up.haha.
@bowtechbrando Yes I know what it stands for but just because it says magnum doesn't mean it should be a hangun dumbass.Go put a 300 win magnum in a handgun
@carolinaboysc no shit thats why im trying to figure out what ur saying. Why would u say ''wow a hmr.17 in magnum form never knew of it waste of a gun thoug'' that makes no sence. u say nothing about a reolver untill ur comment towards me
Keep in mind the .17HMR is being shot from a 12" barrel whereas the .22 mag is from a 6.5" barrel. That makes a pretty significant velocity difference and would no doubt effect the ballistic performance at the target. Regardless, .17HMR and .22 magnum are both great rimfire rounds.
just by looking at the round you would not give a thing for i, but once you shoot at something, it punches high above its class, much higher than its class,
people kill ferral pigs with it, that are much harder than deer.
