However, everything in the game works the EXACT same on console, no cheat codes or anything have been used.

While you make a Tool Assisted Speedrun like this, you can easily choose to be as close to an enemy as possible without dying, as you have help with slow motion and save states. But no cheats are used and everything works EXACTLY the same as the original game on console.

And that isn't realistic, but possible in theory. With very short runs, or a specific parts in the run, some people have used a bot to test out luck manipulation. These cases are VERY RARE however.

For nearly all TASes, a human is making ALL the input neccesary to beat the game. You have a lot to learn about TASes it seems.

The game was either passed with cheats or showing only the best times on the stage but it was not a single shot recording. At 7:50 he uses a star to enter the castle, in the run of the video he never got a star and you can see when he uses his two flautes that he have nothing else.

He slowed down emulation gameplay so he could run kinda like matrix bullet time but then after the recording he changed the speed to regular time, so in reality it says completion was 11 minutes it could have been upwards to an hour !

The runner included it if people followed the links mentioned at the end of the run (Doubt they are still working though). But as most people are too lazy to look up things, not many knew how the run was done

But it is a TAS, and a very old and unoptimised such.
