Re: Live At Slim's 6/15/93. I think I was at the show. First time I'd ever seen them, so Mark Eitzel solo 'bout a week before. He's a genius this music is gorgeous.
This is the first time I have ever seen one of my favorite band's from the 90s. I lived in Hawaii and I don't believe they ever played there. I love youtube!
I once picked up a promotional CD release of this song in a record store in San Francisco. THere was a bonus disc that had a live version of Western Sky. It was basically the greatest performance of a song I had ever heard. That CD cracked and I've looked for it ever since.
I think this was recorded at a church in the West end of Glasgow for a BBC programme called "No Stilletos". It ran for a few nights and featured 2 or 3 bands each night. I didnt go to the AMC night, but I did see The Lemonheads, BMX bandits and the Trashcan Sinatras another night. Just thought you might like to know!
One of my faves.

hard to believe that not so many people, in Europe and even the States, know this brilliant band. Top ten.

@marcellorobert You're wrong ;-) AMC was always better known in Europe than in the USA. As a matter of fact there is nothing unusual about that...

Its hard to believe this video has only 3 thousand
hits...it should have a couple million....this guy is
a total genius and freaking love the melancholic
wisdom in this enigmatic song............top shelf.

I think it's called Live At Slim's 6/15/93. It's a Reprise promo. Try Ebay or the Amazon used marketplace. You should be able to get it that way.
