ah! I started crying! What an eloquent, honest, beautiful person. She hit home with me especially when she spoke about the two views of America and life here. Do we settle for things the way they are and not strive for better? Or can we, as Americans, unite and go that extra mile towards a better, more fair, inspiring life in our country? I've often thought we settle for less because our leaders have doubted that we CAN be more than we are.

Look out for many of the negative comments here (anti-obama, pro-mccain) and elsewhere - seem like well calibrated attempts to divert attention from the good in the Obama campaign toward the same contentious, fear-invoking rhetoric. And this I have increasingly noticed not only in dear ol' Foxnews, but in more mainstream sites like youtube, social networks, csmonitor, the different posts and the 'liberal' cnn/time/nytimes. Great to hear Michelle's heartfelt speech! Viva Obama 2008!

I take offense to people who question the Obama camp on censoring comments.
If you were smart enough, you would realize that it's not the Campaign that's shooting you down...it's the tens of thousands of site visitors that are sick of seeing the same negativity in an otherwise intelligent and sofisticated presidential convention.
I also take note that the people complaining of censorship are ALWAYS up to no good anyway. And who wants to hear it. We came to enjoy the video!

This was an amazing speech! It was really heart felt! It's nice to see a woman who looks like me get on T.V for more than shaking her behind. An African American woman who proves that we can be intellegent and stand behind what we believe in and the people we love.

She is an amazing lady. I can't wait for the little girls living in the White House. Michelle, lovely. Hillary, a tour de force. Bill, outstanding. Joe Biden, brilliant. Now we know why the Republican attacks on Obama seemed to lower his numbers for a while. By presenting him as the "One" they made it seem like he was all alone out there. This convention has made it about a great team behind him, and that is truly wonderful. Bill and Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are huge assets now to Obama's campaign - it is great that the party is united.
