I had noticed Gdi Orcas and their tanks looking like starcraft crucio sige tanks and Kane's base strctures alike are you serious?, I hate when they start mixing science fiction stargate crap bull shit into the realistic game this game looks stupid. What was so hard about updating graphics and keep original units maybe add few more real world weaponary. So Nods are GLA and USA is GDI, fantastic
@Chinunit22 I feel the same way. One of the things that people liked about Generals was that it blended sci-fi with the real world so that you could suspend belief. The EU air unit is basically an Orca and the tank is a GDI Predator - it even has the same exposed treads! The air unit should be a Tiger helicopter and the tank more closely knit to what's on the battlefield today. This game is going to be Generals in name only.
Look in the lower right coner of the screen at 0:34, there's scafolding and a crane, like the USA in the original. Hope this means they're using a dozer system. Hope the Chinese are back with tactical nuke MiGs and the Overlord iin HD!
They better have an air force general which works like Zero hour. Bear in mind Zero hour is pretty much perfect, just a little refining, updating and STOP MISMATCHES. We just want you to keep it real. Units that you can recognise, not stupid unrecognisable alien crap. And no bloody tiberium.
Well they ruined the Red Alert and Tiberium series, lets hope they don't ruin one of the very few decent conventional warfare RTS' (Generals+Shockwave mod) with a bunch of lame space/robot/monster crap.
@zero00tolerance You're right, Generals was the last good game in the series. IMO Generals Zero Hour is the best RTS game ever made. The fact that there are still several very high quality user mods being developed for it today is a huge testimony to the sheer genius of the original gameplay and design. And the realistic/modern/futuristic setting is so much better than that silly "Kane" world.

Company of Heroes is one of top RTS games even today, and boasts a huge Mod base as well. Starcraft, the original game, for some reason, is still the preferable RTS game of all time.

They have changed since greedy times. The recent game studios they have bought and they games they have been putting out greatly shows that. It is a different company than it was when they were "greedy people" like you make them out to be.

@sustantivo1espritu You don't need a high-end PC. Mid-end will do just fine, hell, my PC is lower than low-end and runs BF3 just fine, so it will most likely run Generals 2 just fine. Same graphics engine.
@muzimuzi Well think of it like this... what kind of a company that make a game less than a year, there were many problems with the games, like scud bugs issues and teams balance. Again and again with problems but they chose not to care about it. So instead they made a new entire game called Zero Hour, and completely abandon people that still play C&C Generals.
Totaly buying this game when it comes out :)

Command and conquer is an amazing game series, sadly EA games are obsessed purely upon money profits etc.
