  • what can one say, absolute class. Fagan is a legend as are the entire band.

  • This is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Lady Gaga, Rebecca Black, and dubstep!

  • Yeah, long live the '80's!!! Everything was better!

  • I remember meeting Steve (drummer) he was a really nice guy!

  • Choice!!

  • choice!!

  • First concert I saw at school I love them and hes Hot xxx

  • His voice is awesome!

  • Andrew Fagan is so cool the best song the Mockers ever sung cool

  • This is one my favourite all-time tracks. We heard this in concert before it was released, and it brought the house down!!

  • I saw an old Kiwi film last week on SBS called "Go Girls". and they played this song during the closing credits so I just had to search for it and "Bingo" here tis! Thanks Knees Tease. You rock!

  • This Shit :)

  • GREAT SONG

  • u probably wont believe me but the drummer, Steve Thorpe, hes my uncle ^^

  • @BlackFizz205

    You're right, I don't believe you.

  • @joeylikesquiet i knew u wouldnt! but its true!

  • @BlackFizz205 Wasn't Steve from Burnley in the UK originally? Because my Dad is from Burnley and I remember Dad got talking to him at the airport once... they heard each others Burnley accents. I think it was Steve, but may have been another... was definitely someone in The Mockers though

  • @superjono2 idk where b/c i wasn't born there but my mum (Steve's sister) was, Steve, her and their ther brother moved to NZ were me and my mum live, Steve gassed himself in his car and their other brother is a piss head so i dont know much about Steve b/c he died before i was born i only know wht mum has told me

  • is the lead singer on the radio now

  • @bmanrox13 yeah mate, but not singing, hes a talk back host :)

  • Great song, but he's def lip sync'ing on this video.

  • @okiedokies Yeah 'cause their just playing the recorded track over a performance. ahhh the good ol' days of video making...

  • @geeglebear Ha, they played at my High School and another year it was Conconut Rough. Such were the 80s.

  • Oh, this is one of my fav songs from The Mockers. Brings back so many memories, they are a great 80's Kiwi band. Steve Thorpe was the drummer, he was the coolest and a shame about his passing, it was so sad and the keyboardist Tim Wedde is in Australia and goes on tour with country singer Graeme Connors, saw him in Rockhampton, Qld, Australia 2004. Still an awesome kiwi band, shows how things have changed since the 80's.

  • i used to think he was so hot! I was like 8 or something though when this song was out but I still thought he was hot

  • Crap track. Never lied it.

  • saw these guys heaps of times at Mainstreet in Auckland..........great band...great times....

  • omg i luv this song so much. it suks that music like this doesnt cum out anymore. if i go tell anyone that i like this song they think im bloomin crazy!!!!! AHHHH

  • These tossers played at my school in a free concert in about 1985....Green Bay High School in West Auckland...........I remember the lead singer had nail polish on

  • RIP Steve Dab

  • love the mockers brings back my teen years in aucks

  • i love this song!!! as of all of the mockers songs. my dad dean heazlewood was the lead guitarist so ive been brought up on stuff like this!!

  • GOODGOODGOODSHIT

  • shit like this ... you know the bands like th' dudes ... crowded house.. dd ... all the old nz groups make me angry and jealous that i was bought up through an era of boy bands like bloody n sync and back street. wat i would give to be born in the 70's and had this booming at my parties

  • the cure

  • ah sikk !

  • Kiwiana at its best!

Still like this song all these years on

  • like this song

  • are they mimming? sad but i love the footage, and love kiwi music!!

  • These guys played live at my high school when I was about 14. One of my better days at school. :)

  • this has to be one of the best kiwi songs

  • the mockers are real fucking cool!!

    right on

  • Remembering ex-Murrays Bay boy Steve Thorpe on drums. A good bloke he was.

  • Andrew Fagan is now a host on Radio Live (an NZ radio station) along with ex Radio with pictures host Karen Hays!

  • Not a case of miming. Studio recording playing. Live audio perfrormance is matched to it. common everyday thing. BTW it took literally weeks and weeks to correct Fagan's off-pitch singing in post-production. And, since Fagan can't harmonize, a failed shithead from Chicago called Bill Millay is doing the harmony vocals in the background. He was a thief, a liar and an asshole but he could sing. He eventually married Gayle Welch from Kaitaia (check Kim Fowley's last "Runaways" album, she's on it.)

  • Are you Phil Ramone?

  • How do you know this?

  • Ahhh... this song will always remind me of the year I spent in NZ a few years ago. First heard it at a bar in Paihia... brilliant pop song!

  • there not miming it the sounds just off

  • wow andrew fagan

    awesome

  • Their miming it, notice at the beginning when the singing starts, Andrew hasn't got the microphone anywhere near his mouth, and has to turn his back to the crowd and get into time. Also drums are out here and there.

  • lol look at the crowd getting right into the song... oh wait... no they aren't...

  • My one eyed trouser snake just spat into my belly button because this song is so AWESOME! Many thanks to KneesTease for posting!

  • omg!!!

    I soooo loved this song!!!

    lol very cool!!

    xxxx

  • naturally you would say that been from the UK, I have nothing against that cause the majority of my family is from there, but don't criticise something that you will never aspire to be.

  • sorry, wrong-nothing to do with being from the UK. In fact i do like some NZ music (Dragon, Crowded House, Exponents) but i'm afraid this song doesn't cut it.

  • it's not dreadful.... just... a bit.... meh :)

  • don't watch it then homo

  • don't watch it then.

  • that was so boring

  • gay

  • ahhh i love the mockers .. one of NZ's best ever bands

& i used to love listen to Fagan & hay on Kiwi FM breakfast

  • haha hes my dad!

  • Great song still cant believe the drummer passed away so young

  • wow I didn't know that, that is a real pity.

  • the lead singer is my uncle

  • I had such a crush on him!! and jordan luck from dance exponents. tee hee watching this made me laugh!

  • Andrew Fagan?

  • Yes

  • tell your uncle from a fan that this was a bloody great song. but RIP to the drummer, very sad to hear of a death, I think we all don't like to hear about sad news

  • Ha so funny, at 14 and onwards I used to go to their concerts, stand in front of the keyboards and tell him i loved him... If your out there... I still love you!! haha

  • reminds me of the mint times otp!!!!!

  • Wicked video, anyone no a site to download this song for free so i can put on my ipod

  • i did mean dead lol

  • is it just me or do the crowd seem pretty died!!!

  • This song always makes me feel at home in NZ no matter where in the world I am. Live on the Mocker Spirit.

  • the Rock FM rocks my socks...lol

  • Thank you so very much, I am so proud to know this song, it is a part of been a Kiwi, something I am proud of and will always hold on to. once again Thanks and choice.
