I've started collecting football/concert tickets, in there I have a League Cup Final ticket from Feb 2011, pendulum Dec 2010, and England Match and my cousins first concert, which he is now appearing at o2 academies, still piling them in a box, hoping to get more concert tickets though, I have a cinema ticket from Shrek which was found by my mom, good memories!
I used to keep tickets, but I threw most of them away. But I think I've kept a few for whatever reason (that, or I haven't gotten around to throwing them away yet.
I used to (and still do) hoard a lot of very nerdy memorobelia. (Hope I spelled that right. Probably not.) I would order a lot of Kingdom Hearts stuff off eBay and Amazon and I would just drown in my love of the game. It's gotten better. But ever since I started writing books and needed the space, it's all more organized so I can have space.
Notes from my fiance(from before she was my gf and when she was JUST my gf and from after I proposed) tickets from movies her and I went to see or for football games I went to just to spend time with her yeah that is just from almost a year over 20ish notes will be a year next saturday Eastern standard time
I keep notes passed in classes, pictures drawn by friends, movie tickets, any kind of ticket actually, and there either in an envelope or on my wall or spread across Narnia in my room.
I get the biggest waves of memories from train tickets I think, I found tonnes in my cupboard the other day and I could name pretty much every event they were each from, just from looking at the destination and dates on them.
So i get on the computer to do homework, instead i watch youtube videos like this one Its just so hard not to, the temptation is to great, i should probably go study for exams now.
I actually do collect my movie tickets for that reason... i put them up on what I call my 'closet collage'. I love random stuff :) I'm a wee bit of a hoarder too... *Sheepish smile*
I keep magazines. I have a drawer full of Kerrang! Magazines (literally every one that I have brought- ever) with posters and concert tickets. I want to keep them just in case I want to stick the posters up on my wall. Maybe one day...
I used to horde train tickets and ring pulls off cans (I still horde ring pulls). One in particular was a train ticket to Stockport which I had stuck two ring pulls on.
They're from first time I snook out against my parents will, I was 14. The ring pulls are from a can of stella and the other carlsberg - nothing much happened that night, but it sticks out to me. I havent spoken to the people i went with in ages, and because of this i'm going to get back in touch with them <3 Thankyou Liam <3
i have about 80 movie ticket stubs, all crammed into a glasses case :D With each ticket i remember who i was with, and the amount of fun i had, but not much about the movie itself.
and 40 ish key chains... 5 of which are on my keys.
the key chains are usually from places i've been, or places my mom has been
I collect everything. Movie tickets, booklets from museums, concert tickets, pictures with friends and other insignificant things and I stick them around my mirror in my bedroom so I can look at them all the time :).
I have an immense amount of pens and a ton of them don't even work and the only memories I get from them are just memories of me stealing pens from friends, banks, my mom my brother, strangers who I borrowed pens from but never gave back ect. Lol :)
I have the same thing, not with cinema tickets though - just all plays, dance shows, musicals or panto's I've ever seen or been in, and that's quite a few - something like 70 or 80 :D they're all on my wall and I can remember all but one which I've never heard of in my life and neither has anyone I know... worrying :D btw, you should do a Jack Sparrow impression in every video you make, it was cool ;) x
I am so glad I am not the only person who adamantly collects ticket stubs for the sake of being able to relive the memories that were created in the process of seeing that film.
There's a movie theatre where I live where tickets are $7.00 (That's about £4.53). I always go there when I watch movies. Mind you the only other movie theatre is fifteen minutes away and a ticket rns $10-$15 (£6.48-£9.72). Heh heh the power of xe currency converter.
i have school ceritificates and birthday/christmas cards from primary school, pointless objects when i got when i was 6, random drawings i did years ago when i was bored...
I hoard cinema tickets, theatre tickets, gig tickets, and train tickets. I have a lot of train tickets and I like to remember where I went and why I went. :)
SHe was like "so andrew... the 4th person that bekah can't readddd" and was being super obvious that I knew who it was even though I said I dont. About a week later he asked me out via text. I said no because I thought we were too young. He hasn't talked to me since. I haven't been asked out since.
I found a peice of paper from grade 6 (so year 7) in witch one of my friends and I were passing notes. His name was andrew and I had the biggest crush on him. On said peice of paper was me asking what girls he likes (because I was apperently very... not subtle about it) and he wrote down the usuall names of girls that every one likes (callista, monica, keirsay) then in realllllyyy tiny letters he wrote "and you". I don't actually ever had the guts to record a video response to this, but I do keep my tickets since 2001. But the thing I would make a video about is that I have this box filled with letters, notes, drawings, origamis, etc that friends gave to me since that time too. it has 10 years worth of stuff there now. I have candy papers written 'this is a gift for you', I have drawings of me or random stupid drawings made while in class... it's just SO GOOD to open that box from time to time :)
This is a bit random, but I have a friend who came to the US from Italy, so she speaks really broken English, and she called the movie theatre a cinema (Which is what it is) and everyone laughed. I was like "b-but... it is a cinema isn't it?"
Two things were learned that day. 1. In Italy they teach English English, not American English, and 2. I watch too much BBC/Youtubers from the UK.
In addition to hoarding movie tickets, I hoard all the little notes my friends and I wrote to each other in school. I also found a love letter from a guy I liked when I was 15. I live in Stirling and am so gutted they got rid of the Carlton. It was so cute! P.S I don't know if anyone's told you this, but you totally look like David Tennant.
Beheheh, that place SUCKS! I only lived there for a year, and it was when I was 9. That was MORE than enough time in Cumbernauld. NOW I LIVE IN DETROIT! It's much better ._____________________.
Actually, I horde ticket stubs. I don't really mean to. Just whenever I go see a movie or something, I stick the stub in my wallet, and then whenever I go to clean out or switch wallets, I just can't bring myself to throw them away. It's become some sort of good luck thing now, that I just can't throw them away. I mostly have movie tickets, since that's what I do most involving stubs, but I have a couple from amusement parks and concerts too.
I keep my movie tickets too! And a napkin from every wedding, birthday, baby shower I've ever gone to. Lol I've had to throw away a lot of that stuff. They really start piling up. Oh, but what great memories!
That's probably the best Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow impression I've ever heard. Seriously, if you were to run your impression over an actual scene of one of the Pirates movies I wouldn't be able to tell whether it was Depp or you talking. That's impressive.
I keep all of my movie tickets! I have some from 2003!! some of them have all the ink rubbed off, so I'm not sure what movie they are from, but I keep them anyway! I also keep every fortune I get out of fortune cookies...
I collect movie ticket stubs too! Ah, memories...
When I saw Constant Gardner in 2005 - the first date with my first boyfriend. Not a great date movie, by the way.
Or in 2007, my sister and I saw Hot Fuzz - which I have the ticket for - and then snuck into Spiderman 3 afterwards - which, for obvious reasons, I don't. We felt dangerous. :)
I keeps maps of pretty much everywhere I've ever been. I love opening them up and remembering what I saw and which streets I walked down. I have a few borading passes too but the memories those bring up are mostly frustration about airtravel.
I moved out of my hometown for two years and I kept all the bus tickets I bought to travel back and forth between my new town and my hometown.
I also have probably all of my concert tickets. I might miss like one or two. but they are all link with awesome memories. I love them. I will never get rid of them!!:)

I also have probably all of my concert tickets. I might miss like one or two. but they are all link with awesome memories. I love them. I will never get rid of them!!:)
I keep all my old doodles from science or P.e or any lessons i don't do anything in all because they give me something to remenince when i am supposed to be tidying my room x
I do exactly the same thing with clothing labels, I can tell you what item they belonged to, and most often when I got it/ where. They all just sit in a little bag in my room (: Found this so interesting considering I've always thought that I was the only one that did something like that.
I have a load of cinema tickets too! I remember me and my friends went to see casino royale, and after me and this other guy went outside to have a fag, but we had to be sneaky because the people we were with hated smoking. Then we had to put out our cigarettes because we weren't being very subtle and our other friends were coming to find us. Such a random and boring memory.
Hey, I was looking through my old school books and I realised how bad I was at most lessons xD But I did notice I was an absolute BEAST when in came to English Literature & Language :D
I remember seeing that Pirates movie when I was 12. There was a little boy sitting in front of me that jumped at all the action scenes, and at one point he jumped while holding his water bottle, so I got soaked.
Hey I went to the University of Stirling for international summer school! I was only there for a month but it was amazing. I LOVE SCOTLAND and am having some serious withdrawals. Such a beautiful country full of cute people like you ;)
I have almost all the drawing my friends made for me from 7th grade (I am in 10th grade now) and every time I see then it can make me feel better on even my worse days and I remember all those days of my past and that I can't see them anymore because we do not go to the same school after we all gone off to high school
I'm a writer, so I keep every single thing I write, be it a sentence or a whole notebook. Here's the thing though: I have shit handwriting, haha!
I went through my huge drawer of notebooks and pages and scraps of paper and I remembered so much! One day I continually wrote down everything I said or thought---that was really interesting.
I keep movie tickets as well, it used to be because I'd simply never get around to throw them away, but now I make a point to keep them flat in my wallet and put them up on my wall with the others when I get home.
Iv kept all my movie tickets from the past to years cuz Iv only been allowed to see movies when ever with my friends for 2 years and one of my favorite movie ticket (cuz it was an awesome movie and cuz it was the first movie ticket i kept)brought back a horrible memory of going to see the tooth fairy with my crush (at the time) and we were friends now we hate each other -_____-
I also keep all my cinema tickets! But the weirdest thing I've kept is a pair of red converse which are literally falling to bits, and I remember all these days I wore them on, like on a beach in Tunisia, when I walked right into the water with them on, and they took about a week to dry, and then they were always full of sand. I also kept these little plastic animals I used to play with when I was about 4 in a box under my bed, and I still remember all the weird stories I made up about them...
i do the same thing! i never throw away my ticket stubs. actually, last year around this time getting ready to go to college I took all my 4-5 years worth of stubs and plastered them onto construction paper. So now i have like three small posters of movie tickets up in my room :)
I hoard all those things haha. I've been saving my movie tickets for quite awhile. I think since 2003. And I wish I had started earlier. I also keep all my tickets and Playbills from shows I see. And by shows, I mean like Broadway production shows (West Side Story, Young Frankenstein, Lion King etc) And I love keeping them. I personally think it's a good thing to do. I also keep insignificant pieces of paper just to remember why it is actually significant :]
I save all of my movie stubs (if i don't lose them in my purse first) among tickets to plays, ballets, programs, postcards, filmstrips, metro and plane tickets.
YOUR JACK SPARROW IS AWESOME. Your voice itself doesn't sound like Johnny Depp's, but Jesus you really nailed his gestures and accent and all that... *is a fangirl*
I keep all my tickets. From just about anything, things like concerts, hockey games, trains, plains, buses and yes even movie tickets. xD I love having them around. When I get stressed or upset I can see them and they instantly put me in a good mood because of the memories they hold.

Stirlingshire your hometown? That's awesome! I live really close to there - I used to go to the Carlton cinema too (though it's closed down now). ;D

I keeps maps of pretty much everywhere I've ever been. I love opening them up and remembering what I saw and which streets I walked down. I have a few borading passes too but the memories those bring up are mostly frustration about airtravel.

I remember seeing that Pirates movie when I was 12. There was a little boy sitting in front of me that jumped at all the action scenes, and at one point he jumped while holding his water bottle, so I got soaked.

Thanks for the idea, Liam!
