I am using Rom manager, and i came to the point where it said: Backup existing rom, Wipe data and cache, or Wipe dalvik cache. what should i do? I am on a G1, and i just installed cyanogen mod 6.1.0 on rom manager and that popped up.

i did all that correctly, but my .thm files dont show up on my phone. i know they're there, but metamorph doesnt see them. and also, when you press "pick existing theme," a window pops up asking you to pick a .thm file but mine asks me to pick a .xml file... how come mine is different

i dl'ed that highlights green zip, and metamorph says there are 4 apks. an advanced launcher, launcher, mms, and framework-res.

i really just wanted the green highlights for selected text. wanted to keep everything else on my phone the way it is for now, the launcher, notification bar..

what apk do i install to change selection color?

Question.... I used the Espresso theme, and everything themed just fine, but I noticed that the progress bar is still blue. For example when you change the volume, that progress bar thingy is still blue. Does that "Hero Green Selections effects" change that or is it just for the selection of buttons and stuff?

Awesome it worked thanks. Just a tip, I looked on the same xda link you gave out to see what else I can metamorph... I found a matching power widget, that will match Espresso and change the blue indicators to green. It's called "Nexus Power Widget" by Kron2. There's also a screenshot of it as well so you can check it out.

No. That comes in the SenseUI homescreen app in those ROMs. Not compatible.

BUT

Look up LockBot in the Market. (Or Hero lockscreen, Nexus lockscreen)

It lets you use those lockscreens =p

Oh yeah. The black boxes only appear if the ROM starts out black. Sucks cuz then you can never go white!

Not all themes are compatible with every ROM. No matter which ROM you use.

@EmoGamer You can start by metamorphing icons. It will actually show how hard it is to make a full theme. SO MUCH DELETING AND RENAMING JUST FOR THE ICONS. I'm working on a Sense UI Android 2.1 icon metamorph myself. I asked Ace42 for the icons he used in his espresso theme so I can make a metamorph.

just a little suggestion: Why don't you use a screen recorder for the computer part. There are plenty of good ones like camstudio that are free and you can record your voice while you record the screen.
