Guys ..what kind of Yoga is this ? .. We have a lot of space in Auroville .. Time to build olympic size swiming pools , a wonderful clay court and grass court ..even a golf course ..it would be fun ..and yea ..creative as well ..sports r so much fun .. ofcourse rock concerts r fine ..but ../shrugs/ its bad if it insulates us or keeps us far from the Divine ..lets have loads of fun but lets not forget the 'fundamentals' ..
And the one thing thats important is to be conscious and willing servitors of the Divine will ..its on the charter of Auroville to remind us .. The Mother is lenient ..but lets not go astray .. it would then amount to betrayal ..its a matter of being faithful to the Divine .. lets not kid ourselves :( ..hope i am not being uncool here ..by the way ..i want some help as well ..pls help :( and wish me luck :D

Had the Mother been alive, I would have recommended you to take Her to this rock and pop concert. She would have been immensely proud of you for doing her yoga just the way She intended, I mean, rock and pop in Auroville ONLY for the sake of Divine establishment on earth. Such devotion is rare to me!!!Even great disciples like Nolini da, Nirod da, Champaklal lacked the faith and clarity (going to rocks and pops) with which you are doing this yoga.
In fact I have exhausted the whole Letters on Yoga, and the section "Transformation of the Vital" but nowhere did I find the enlightening words you are following. But as you are immensely faithful to the Master and Mother :-), a true devotee ;-) I only have to wait for you to show where Sri Aurobido Himself has acceded to fancies in yoga. Eagerly waiting! And you can prove to ask158 that satisfactions of desires is sure means of being faithful to one's Guru.
hey macbraveheart, can you please show me where the Mother and Sri Aurobindo have given their consent to indulge in desires to practise yoga? You seem to me to be an extremely "sincere" practitioner, a rare gem. I will be happy to see the writings and follow it myself. In my "ignorance" :-) I believe KNOW that Their works and words indicate indulgence in one's personal satisfactions (pop and rock concerts, etc..) as not a part of Integral Yoga at all.
Mother and Sri Aurobindo will know the substance of my faith. You are too ignorant to judge it. I believe you will say that faith in inculcated in rock concerts? You betray Them utterly and that is a stark reality. It is you who will have to bear its spiritual consequences.
Regarding your point about comments on my page: Supraalee repeatedly assaulted and demeaned Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. I hope you can read as much as you can talk. All my appellations and epithets to supralee mean a fool. That is the least anybody would call him. I am beginning to think he has a good sympathizer in you.

Stand back and observe the atmosphere it creates. These vital indulgences have no room in Sri Aurobindo's yoga whatsoever. This is not intolerance, but the rejection of lower nature-- you would know this had you read "The Mother" by Sri Aurobindo. Growing up in Auroville I would think you should have know this better!
