At least there was a tap shift feature unlike the Impala SS, Monte Carlo SS and LaCrosse Super. From what I've seen, the shift time is pretty quick... Meaning from the time you push the button to the time it actually shifts. Does the G8 GT react any quicker in manual mode over the GP? Thanks and great videos!!
@IrishChris1979 It's nice, let me tell ya. Sport Mode is the best...Especially with a tune. I have it set where there is very little torque management in Sport and OHH GOD does that thing rip.
Im considering buying one..but idk ive heard a lot of trans mission problems with them and it would be so hard going from a 12second rwd to a 14.5 second fwd
@adamcc91 I really loved this car when I had it. If you are looking for performance, the GP GXP is NOT for you. The trans's are a somewhat weak, they do have some upgraded parts from the CompG tranny. I would be worried about the trans if you ever went turbo. The aftermarket world for the LS4 is pretty limited. If you are looking for a nice ridin, sharp looking car then go for the GXP. I sold mine and bought a G8 GT, and have never looked back yet.
@GXPFiend haha id do the same thing, unfortunately my price is a bit lower than the g8 haha idk i think id use it as a cruiser but occasional show off to my friends kinda thing How bad is the torque steer?
