For this i was using a JVC GR-D73U..its a pretty low end camera but not to bad. One of the keys i found to making good video is having plenty of light though. For this shoot i had 3 200 watt lights on me. One center down low, one to the right with an umbrella and one to the left with an umbrella. For the most part it worked well but i got some odd shadows...Notice how the shadow of the purple couch and the cabinet on the right move twords each other? :)
WOW THIS IS SO AWESOME sad that i didnt get the cloning 100 % :( and i just triedlight saber and when the final part comes.. i did ONE thing an that minute long clip went *****
Yeh, keep thinking that myself. Have been busy with school though and figured since this was just a quick demo for the 6 tutorials i would skip it. Although when i watch it i do make little mr. bean type sounds for the effects and such...
if you dont have the partical effect filters you can always use things around the house to make the partical...such as glitter in water..some food coloring on warmed milk then add a dot of dawn soap...etc
Have you tried creating something like that? I agree it could have some music and/or sound effects. But in a video maker's perspective, that kind of thing is quite complicated and tricky to make!
I actually did think about adding some sound to this but lost the ambition to do it after a bit. Also i figured this particular video is just showing the effects that i later do a tutorial on. For now...just hum the correct sound :)
I wanted to give a tutorial on basics and then include 6 different effects that one can do using those simple basics. I have the feeling it will be in a few parts due to the complexity of some of the effects present. If all goes well with school, family, work and travel I will try to have at least one segment up every week or so.

please tell me this works in final cut express?
jbkrule 4 years ago
should work fine in final cut as long as you can mask and you have some simple partial effect filters.
