graphics can get way better because at the moment xbox uses a xenos chip through ati which is equal to about the NVIDIA GT 8600, fr my computer I have a Nvidia GT 430 which is almost twice the graphics and computing power. that being said xbox has plenty of room to advance in that department to compare to the higher end video capabilities. If XBOX uses Nvidia instead they can also utilize the capabilities of 3d gaming which is integrated in the higher end cards

I would imagine the next XBOX will just scale up the existing 360 hardware, like instead of 3 core xenon @ 3.2GHz (6 threads) it will be a 28nm 9 core Xenon @ 3.8GHz (18 threads), 3GB unified ram instead of 512mb and an ATI GPU equivilant to a HD 6970. this would be natively backward compatible with exisiting games (prob important) as essentially it would be the same architecture just a lot more powerful. and also you would be able to develop awesome new games playing natively at 1080p.

Besides this ordeal of the white girl who needs to stay in school, i just bought a 360 finally after 7 years. I was worried that the 720 would come out in 2013 but then i heard that it wasn't. I got my box pretty cheap but still, i will wait a little longer if i have to for the new one. Any insider from anybody about returning mine and waiting it out? The way i look at it is, if it comes out in 2014, i spent $260 getting a 4GB Box, Kinect, GOW3, MW3, for one year of daily entertainment, cool..
