I know, as a Canadian, we were taught, that WE won the war of 1812, by virtue of being "so called" English colonialists. But, we held our own. Thank God, Canada, stayed CANADA! No offense to my American friends, but I'm glad we are STILL Canadian! I just feel bad for the First Nations. Both countries stole their land. As far as I'm concerned, we owe the Aboriginal Peoples of our countries a lot more than their reserves..
