yeah, 2000 my mistake. It was the first year of the Harley truck regardless. But thank you txstate. At least some people have sense enough to know what they're talking about before coming on here talking trash. I say this in reference to another user who was going to prove to my friend who owned the truck and I that his truck was not a HD f-150 and that we put all of the badges and wheels on it. I appreciate the further info on how to descern the years though, very interesting.

also the 2000 Harley F150 (1st year out) only had badges on the fender. It had an F150 badge in the rear tail gate. But most owners of the 2000 buy a badge from ebay, dealer and remove the F150 badge and replace it with the HD badge to make it look clean...

all other years come with badges on the fenders and tail...

2000 - first yr out and only year with the step side (rest of the yrs are 4 door)...it also comes with orange pin stripe

2001 - Crewcab 4 door with a thick stripe on the bottom

2002 - Came in black with red flame pin stripe or in grey with red flame pin stripe

2003 - Came in 2 tone silver & blk or all blk with thick grey pinstripe

dude u did make a mistake, they did make the harleys with stepside, but only a certain year....i cant tell my self if it is a harley, it does look like one but the only thing i see missing is the red stripe....but than again im not sure if all harleys have the stripe...do u guys know what stripe i am talking about???? well anyways, about the cats, how much did it cost ur for that? and do u have any other mods?

yes! thank you! you are correct, the only thing that this one doesnt have is the red stripe, its an 01, which was the only year they had ext. cab stepside. But everything else, the front clip, interior, everything is the harley edition. IN terms of the cats, i think all he did was cut them off, open them up with a torch take the catalytic material out, and weld them back in. Basically, it looks like there are cats, but there arent. It was free for him, but I dont know how much it would cost

Lets start with the badge, you can buy the badges online, u can even go to your ford dealer and order,its more expensive at the dealership but u can order the badges, and also the harleys dont come with sidestep,i am actually getting the harley wheels for my truck in 20", i have the link to the site if u wanna check that out about the harley not coming in sidestep, i still have to give it to him, thats a badass truck,

hey guys look, lets calm down here. I was there and i'll say that i did make a slip of the tongue. I stared at the harley badge and called it a lightning but in my description of the video i called attention to that fact. Also, I would like to see that website you're talking about. I have worked on this truck before and the vin number checks out, it is a harley truck. I have a site with all kinds of info about it if you'd like. It does have a flareside box though, and 20 inch wheels

me saying it was a lightning was a slip of my tongue and i know it, but it is a harley truck. Look at the badge on the back of the tailgate. Harley trucks came stock like that with the 2 inch lowered stance, and the 20 inch wheels. they also have the dark dark tint on all the windows. Its an 01 i believe
