  • darietto, historically, one in ten Vespas were built in India with the same tooling with which LMLs are now produced. Piaggio have recently opened a factory in Vietnam. Are you suggesting that the new Vespas built by Piaggio outside of Italy are all fakes?? Besides, since when have Italian sourced automotive products been a consistent hallmark of quality?

  • The pinasco alloy is a very good kit, very reliable. A fitted mine with a racing crank, on ported engine, a 26-26 carb, pkxl flywheel, and i tried 3 exhausts : the JL left hand, the JL right hand and the sip road. The sip road is the best for daily use. The two JLs are nice, but too noisy. I use it with 21 X 68 primary gear, top speed 65 mph REAL... let's be honnest.

  • che FIGATA!! io voglio il 125 2t di sta moto meravigliosa

  • nice bike!

  • But the Vespa is not injected? How did you change it? I too want to do it ...

  • What are the names of all the parts that you put in this vespa? Cylinder, exhaust, and others..

  • At scootershop

-pinasco 177cc kit part number PN0841

    - exhaust RZ Mark One

    Right Hand part numer 7420004

    - 24 carburator

i advice you not to buy it. Just buy the 177cc cilinder and a sito plus exhaust. It runs smoother. The exhaust caused a lot of vibration and you think that you are on an exploding rocket.

See post below of the google search terms. An exhaust review can be found. Very interesting.

  • aare these pinasco kits very reliable and do you need to port your crank case for this also what is the best exhuast to use and what is the top speed and how much does this affect the torque also sweet vespa man

  • According to the shop, the crank should not be modified. The top speed for me was 100 km/u but aftar that, the crank was fucked up.

My advice is to upgrade the scooter with the 177cc cilinder and use the sito plus exhaust. It runs much smoother and you don't have the feeling that you are sitting on a launched rocket. You don't want to ride a scooter of this type at +100km imho.

  • my px 125 only has a simmonini exhaust and will top 100 kmh at the moment but i am looking for a bore kit to make it a little faster getting there and a little more top end that i dont have to port the crankcases on and that has some reliability

  • Search for `Vespa PX200 performance exhaust test `

in google. There is review of all the vespa px exhausts.

  • lml is not build under a piaggio progect so for me is a fake, the piaggio cost 2'800 euros and got an italian warranty,so..whic is the price of this fake?

  • LML has bought the license from piaggo to produce these scooters. They are build in the same factory when piaggo sold these scooters. The cost is about 2400 Euros for the Belgian market. You can only buy the new modern vespa's are in Belgian. The older original VESPA PX models sell second hand in Belgium for 3500 Euro's beause they are collectors item...I did not want to pay such an amount for an old scooter...but the die hard vespa's fans want to have a `real` one (whatever that is ;-)

  • now i read from a site the story, lml start 20 years ago to product the star for africa.

for me if it isn't build in my italy it's not a vespa,i love vespa and that's why i bougt an old (1966)

  • my cranck is cut,using a 24-24carb,custom exhaust,cranckase is ported,thats all...all the works done by my mechanics....

but recently my vespa broke down,,,the piston is jamned...so i have to change to size C piston...as the cylinder cannot be rebore....

  • ok...mine go at 135km/h.......

so u r from belgium right???

  • Waaw man! 135? That's quite fast! What did you change? Carburator, cilinder, exhaust and something else to reach that speed?

Yeah I am from Belgian, other side from the world ;-)

  • how fast can it go???

  • I don't know yet. it's a brand new one so I need to drive slow in the beginning but I expect 100 a 110 km/h
