As much as I am a devout fan of Michael's and feel he is indeed the greatest driver in the history of F1, Rubens was stronger and FASTER than him in at least 2 full seasons at Ferrari together and he SHOULD'VE been world champion both those years. Michael would possibly be a 5-time world Champion today had they allowed Rubens to just put the hammer down.

Actually, Barrichello had contract until the end of 2006, but he was unhappy because he would never have the same attention that Schumacher had at Ferrari (See how Massa was able to win only 2 races in 2006 because Ferrari would focus on Schumacher, who won 7 that year). So he left to race for Honda, who had a great season in 2004.

You guys always forget that before Michael switched to ferrari they sucked bad. michael is a perfectionist, he made the team what it is now. he is the one who started the double quality controll for parts. if there was a problem with the setup the ferrari team was the last to leave the pits at night. all because of schumi. before michael became a race driver he was a mechanic. he has great technical understanding and works together with the pit crew. most of the driver just drive and thats it.

Same goes for Rubens.. he even said it himself on thursday at Indianapolish during an interview on SPEED... he said that hes always progressing with regard to his skills.. and that this team will finally let him show it.
