I love this... very entrancing. I love that Tori has so many sides to her, and can create so many different sounds. I love the "variety" that is Tori, and I hope that she never stops evolving.

@mykel77 I think you did. let's break it down a bit: I said "you're likely in the minority, then, because I don't know of many people who feel similarly..." meaning, in my experience, many people, while they agree that this album isn't her best, don't think "Flavor" sucks. I mentioned trolls--but I wasn't talking about YOU. I was talking about people who comment on videos of Tori just to be stupid and mean. you didn't do that. and then I *politely* asked why you didn't like it.

she's been on my mind a lot, because i've been thinking about how artists change over time. with that in mind, it becomes more enjoyable to listen to what she's doing, so i'm taking each new work as a new step instead of trying to anticipate a new version of old work. bjork's stuff is the same way, i think. i do like this song.

@bigbigsound Don't get your point - the vocals on this track are indeed heavily processed, but it is clearly because that's what she wanted to create. She's perfectly capable of singing the right notes... autotune and similar software is not just used to fix poor vocals, it's used to create specific sonic qualities...

@bigbigsound As I said, it is "not just" used for those purposes, by no means do I mean that people don't use it that way. However, the idea that's she's autotuning because she can't hit the notes or is too busy or lazy to re-record a vocal makes no sense at all... she's known as a perfectionist and has a nice studio sitting there at her house... plus she can sing this song live just fine...

I feel blessed. When this CD came out I had no time to listen to it, so it kinda slipped under my notice. I purchased it, played it once or twice, and then it kinda vanished.
