Yogen Vocoder is not working for me at all. I've downloaded it but when I try to run it "YoGen Vocoder has stopped working" pops up immediately. Also, I cant run the setup and uninstall it :/

u can actually save it without buying it... play the "preview vocoding" while u record in the auda city...and thats all...it's not perfect thought bcuz it sounds too high in auda city...but u can obviously change the volume there : )))) (give thumbs up so everyone will see this) (Y)

hey, cool video! don't know if someone's suggested this already but you can use one of those toolbars like ask or freecorder to record the audio played in the preview. i've used them for myspace recordings and youtube and you can edit them in audacity or whatever. cheers

That Yogen is amazing...in Advanced options you adjust the "Pitch Shift" higher while u play your recording and you hear other Decepticons' voices too!!

Then , making sure your claw voice is above your other one, click the little arrow or triangle on that track and click make stereo trakcthen go to effects>vocoder and put "distance" at 1 and "Number of vocoder bands" at 240 and click okay. Distance is how much of your claw voice you're gonna hear and number of vocoder bands is how much your steady notes morph with the audio. I'm gonna make a tutorial soon. I'll fave this vid and PM you when I get my old account back. =)

There's something else you can do that sounds even better. if you get audacity (google it and it's the first one) and you get the beta version (version1.3) then download and install (also get lame endoder; it lets you save as mp3) and then open it up and record your Dr Claw voice and then you record 3 more tracks one having a steady low G the the next one a low D then the next one a G but an octave higer than the last one. select the 3 u just mas and go to tracks>Mix and render.

its not free, you cant save the recordings but you can use audacity to get around it. The only thing is that shit is that it only record voco for 1 min unless you buy the full version........its still the best simplest vocoder available though

im not sure what you mean when you say microsoft sam but ya you can take any audio clip and vocode it.

on your computer, go to contol panel then click the line that says "sound, speech and audio devices" then click speech.

whatever you type will be spoken in a voice called micosoft sam.

sry about the cheap microphone i have, if you turn off the volume and follow the mouse i think youll get wats goin on tho. In order for this to work for free you do have to have a microphone [doesnt have to be expensive] but if you want optimum sound quality you can pay 25 dollars and be able to save it to your computer directly

If you use Windows Movie Maker to make your stopmotions, you can just press the little microphone button that says narrarate timeline, start the narraration and put a microphone next to your speaker while playing the vocoded voice. It should record as a windows media audio file.

not really sure what your saying, but what i can tell you is that the farther your microphone is from your speaker the louder you need the sound to be. Dont know if that helps any, but if you want, you could rephrase your question and get back to me, i dont mind

Ya that should be fine, in essence your microphone is just recording everything within range no matter how loud or quiet the sound is. As a side note, depending on the quality of the microphone the sound may become staticish when what its recording is really loud
