I've always loved 1911's. I don't own one, plan to change that in the near future, but not now. I shot my uncle's and my dad's growing up. Fun pistols. My grandfather also has a smith and Wesson 1076 10mm that he wants to give me. All awesome guns

This is a solid pistol, i got one this week put 200 rounds through it, after cleaning before and slightly filing the barrel feed down it worked perfect, bout 150 rounds later of course it started jammin because of the carbon build up but for a 1911 A1 for under 500, this is a steal.

beautiful gun, as a respecting follower of gunblast, I picked this weapon up- beautiful, accurate and has amazing craftmanship- Turkey has been creating weapons of high quality for centuries-not to be confused with china and phillipines- Turkey is right up there and this 1911 is exactly as GB says- DANDY :)

i want a 1911 45. im trying to decide between this or a RIA 1911. Im kinda hesitant about this one because it is made by an airpistol company. Which would you prefer?

Both are good pistols. neither is made by an airpistol company. Umarex is a distributor of this 1911, but does not make it.

Very tight tolerances, Solid, Superbly built, 100% functioning flawlessly with quartar inch group at 25 yards, Very Beautiful and if this exact weapon was made by any other manufacturer if would be over 1,700$ . My two cents, cheers :)

im looking for a 1911 on a budget i came up with this or rock island arms id puffer to buy American but i don't have the money for a colt or kimber. would you suggest this over a rock island.

The Regent is a very good choice. Also look at the Firestorm.

Can we put more powerful springs, minor mod and fire the .45 Super in this thing?

"Bar stock" means that the slide is machined from a bar of steel, usually bought in long lengths of twenty feet or so. A section is cut off, and the slide is machined from this section of steel.

Yes, the R100 can take any of the popular souped-up 45 auto cartridge conversions available.

I love all of your vids ,but out of both of the 1991 series 80 colts (blued or stainless) which one do you prefer ?? , I could get either one of them the fact is I just cant make up my mind which one is better and holds it's value. Please help!

I prefer the stainless, just for ease of maintenence and longer-lasting finish, if carried concealed.

I would say neither. "Better' means different things to different people. It depends upon your particular needs. I prefer the upgraded features on the Taurus myself, but another shooter might prefer the classic style of the Regent.

I'd send ya my Para Ordnance LTC to try out if I could Jeff :D Even a crappy shooter like me has no problem putting all the shots where it matters at 20 yards. Handles like a dream.

Good review too, you always do more in 3 minutes or less then some reviewers do it 20 minutes.
