The smoke could be an additive to the fuel if some of those cars are nitro. Also it could be from a canister that rc airplanes use for their smoke effect. Almost like a road flare, but they burn out after like 5 mins.

They are ABS tires which look real and you can get 12 for 9 dollars in eBay, just look for Sushi Drift. Or you can buy ABS or PVC Pipe and do it your self, but you will need to shape them like a tire, another method is electrical tape around the tires. But i recommend you the Sushi Drift tires because i used them and work perfect for me.
