although i agree that the NPT is completly hyprocritical, i believe its a needed evil. if we just say fuck it. then there is nothing in international polocy that says you can or cant have nuclear weapons. in that case then what? countries are not going to have nuclear weapons just because they dont think its right, while the countries around them do? of course not bottom line is that although the treaty is bad, if we didnt have it the entire world will have nuclear weapons. that is BAD.

The NNPT is hypocritical, if its advocating disarmament of nuclear weapons, then none of its members should have nuclear weapons. It's no wonder maverick countries see it as a joke.

Basically, they've arrenged a way of making them being the only ones to have nuclear weapons against the entire world.
