  • This has to be on everyone's short list of all time great doowops.

  • Great interplay between the voices, piano and horns

  • I love this song my older sister use to play that record over and over and over again.

  • what a great slow song for the high school gym.

  • I was only 9 years old when they were singing this to ME!

  • Damn this is real musik nothing can compare to it best music of all time old and young love this musik

  • DAMN....THS SHIT MAKES ME THINK OF MY POPZ...I LUV HIM SOOO MUCH...HE REALLY IS EDDIE ...MY LOVE

  • This song just makes me think of my dear brother...his name was Eddie and he used to love when this song was sung to him...i just listen to it

  • If I said teen angst and teen alienation on this one that is all I need to say, right? We all went through it whether we knew enough to know about the words alienation and angst or not. And we related to songs, rock, doo wop, etc. that spoke to those trials and tribulations. This is a classic in that genre. Not one that you and your sweetie would call a favorite, not one that you prayed to the teen music gods to play for the last dance but one that you kept playing to keep your own blues away.

  • Oh how I remember. My older sister and her two friends were both in love with guys named Eddie. They would play this when they got together at the house. It was a beautiful time in the 50's that I never forgot.

  • im 45 years old and love my oldies, but i didnt know the teen queens were black woman.to be honest this is the first time ive ever heard of them. but i like them.

  • Danced to this many times , back in the 50's. A much better time.

  • They're called the Teen Queens, but they sound at least 40 and look like they're in thier 30's in this picture.

  • Unfortunately lost in time, this classic national hit for the Teen Queens was released January of 1956 close to the begining of the Rock& Roll era. It was a slow dance record whose lyrics expressed the trials and tribulations of love no matter what age. It was a popular and must dance record for both the guys and gals. One of first songs I ever danced to at the age of 11. Wow, were has the time gone?
