  • For Chrissake,

In every comment bar, of every corner of musical youtube, there are people bashing one form of music or another

    The rockers hate the beleibers,

    The hip hoppers hate classical,

The jazzers hate gaga-ers and pop music,

    And the punks hate everybody.

    What the hell?

  • wow, the fiddle is singing!

  • She is teasing us by playing to low. It reminds me on Sinatra and others trying to hit a blue note, to get dirty and "authentic". But I can't help to enjoy that second brewing.

  • I love violin! And this is fantastic!

  • some mors code in the middle

  • this is how soulful musicians play their tunes - notes run like the evening brook

  • Ovaj deda je pravi gazda, a violina je isto šmekerska

  • Kad vec ponavljamo...

  • Wow that feeling!

  • Wow that feeleing!

  • incredible!

  • She feels any singl note. Sof the violin sounds like a electric violin. Fantastic.

  • ufff

  • I love it.

  • blues, The Duke is present...

  • the harmonization with the saxophone sounds really nice.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • not crazy about the violin usually, but if that's the way she is gonna play it, then i'm all for it. what a great discovery.

  • Duke was king! But the melody sounds so strange and funny played on violin. Took me a while to get used to the sound. Great nonetheless, regina rules.

  • Ray Nance, a trumpeter played violin also. When I was in college I bought a Duke album and the heads were played by violin and I gave it to my elderly neighbor. I found out it was a dance album where they just played heads and short solos, not the arrangements Duke was known for. I wish I had that record back! Duke had small groups, this video would reflect when Ray Nance would be featured playing the head and soloing. There was another guy who played fiddle in Duke's band I can't remember.-Fc

  • @FCntertainr Could the Duke violinist be Sven Asmussen? Or how about Stuff Smith?

  • @t4fnut The record said Ray Nance but I do not know if those great cats you mentioned played with Duke- Oh Okay Stuff Smith could have been the one!- thanx -Fc

  • I really love it!

  • One of my favourite Duke's tunes
