The current lazer projectors are just not really bright enough, I have tried lot's of models of these projectors, but now have one I am very happy with. My current one is from MicroJekt in Europe and is much brighter than all others I have encountered, it was also reasonably priced. Have a look for MicroJekt in a search, I honestly think thier projectors are far better than others on the market.

I was just looking at the Microvision Show WX. The fact it uses lasers, means there is no focusing required. I expect to much more about this company in the near future.

The phone looks fake because it is. He said it is a prototype / mockup just to demonstrate the projector.

The rapid advance of technology is amazing! A digital camera is available today that has one of these projectors built in! And it is only about $400 if I remember correctly. Simply amazing.

It'll be great to see these in mobile phones in stores in the not too distant future. It's hard to be fussy when you realise just how small it is. The technology will get better by the time it gets widespread anyway.
