Hey guys my prob that i did install a private server to try high lvl Evan so i dont waste my time in the normal Maplestory but when i tried to when i came back to work on my normal maplestory does open Unknown Error somthing like tht and i have tried evrything i did re download it 2 times re installed it many times and dunno wht to do so could u please help me its urgent sry for that long story :P bye thx please response

you know what? fuck it!!! playing on a private server isn't worth the aggravation. Ive been looking for answers for 2 weeks now and everyone says the same damn thing..."just re-install" well guess what nooblers? ur advice suxxxxx and reinstalling is a waste of time!!!!

I have a problem too. Whenever I click the client or the private server thing theres this shortened window on the toolbar. so I click it and It says something about using the program and I click allow. Then theres this window that says error

i could tell you all how to make it work ... just someone pm me or somthing and ill make a step by step to tell u exactly how to make ALL private servers work > PS > some server will not work from time to time > due to updating > downtime > how good the server is ... there could be tonnes of things that stop it~~

1st u must tell us what repack u using and what version of ur gms..2nd u must hexedit ur localhost (IF UR GMS IS V55 DOWNLOAD V55 LOCAL HOST)..3rd I THINK U MESS UP JAVA FILE...

its simple....just go to the maplestory folder where you keep all those servers and delete or remove the d3d8.dll file in that folder...thats the reason for that weird message.d3d8.dll is something to make maplestory run in windowed mode.if you delete it it should work...try it

Heres the solution:

1. go to add or remove programs.

2. find maplestory.

3. Uninstall maplestory.

4. Download client v.55 Whichever client you want.

4. click on v.55 set up.

5. Enjoy and play. Tell everyone this.
