I was suicidal about 3 times. 1.) After my father died, I just wanna see his face again and agan, so I was suicidal there. 2.) When my sister got in the car acident with her two young boys and with her husband. 3.) When my mom brought a new man in the house, I was so angry and annoyed, because I knew my father was going to be replaced, but my mom told me he wouldn't be. I met my girlfriend at church. According to the church rules, we start our releationship when we were 17, but when the sisters and brothers of the church knew that we were lesbians, they banned us from church. We just love our Lord, my girlfriend kill herself, I almost did. I've been cutting since late 5th grade. I'm in 7th now. I have thought of suicide numerous times. Every time I cut, I find myself hoping that I slice an artery and bleed to death. But, I'll never hate the ones who did this to me, because I know when it's over, I'll be stronger.

This is one of my favorite songs, because unlike a lot of other songs people listen to today, it actually has a message. My favorite line in the entire song is "it's always darkest just before the dawn so stay awake with me let's prove them wrong. " if you watch the official video for the song you can see that, yes, they have been driven to the edge, BUT THEY HAD THE COURAGE TO STEP BACK FROM THE EDGE AND MOVE ON.

I was suicidal about 3 times. 1.) After my father died, I just wanna see his face again and agan, so I was suicidal there. 2.) When my sister got in the car acident with her two young boys and with her husband. 3.) When my mom brought a new man in the house, I was so angry and annoyed, because I knew my father was going to be replaced, but my mom told me he wouldn't be. This song and many others helped me get through these painful memories :). At least there is some good music still alive! <3

This song is amazing and the video you`ve made is wonderful. I`m strait and like it that way. I beleive its a sin in Gods eyes, but I have MANY friends that are not strait and I dont mind at all. One`s sexual preference is not the business of another and should not be anything you would want to hide. This video is great, it's good to see that people do care. As for the cause of this song, I'm disgusted. The people who would drive someone to suicide just because of their sexuality deserved to be abhorred and put in prison. I strongly agree with gay/lesbian relationships, I myself am not gay (as far as I know :3) but do rather put my faith in a man as a companion only not in a sexual way, more of a strong friendship. I once witnessed a poor child being bullied by the asshole jock of my school

I may be Christian and believe that homosexuality is a sin, as it says in the bible, but the bible also says love everyone. I hate that people make fun of others for something so ridiculous like their sexuality. They are still human, they still have feelings, and they still feel pain.
