  • Damn I love that Fender Tone!!! Great stuff Dave!

  • man loose the metronome, for instrumental guitar playing its ok but you don't get away with it in blues

  • PRS!!! Hey, anyone know where I can find he audio for the old electric guitar recording videos? I've followed the links to the ROTW site and can't find ANYTHING but video.

  • hey mate, what is the exact model of this telecaster?

  • @mean0machine0 - '52 Vintage Hot Rod Reissue

  • 4:22 nice

  • i want that hat...

  • @twisto - get it at daveweiner . com

  • If you made an album of nothing but jam track solos, I would buy it. And then I would listen to it on repeat.

  • @Kobokon he has instrumental albums

  • @KeepJamen I am aware of that. I'm talking about something much simpler than his instrumental albums though. You know how he likes to solo/improvise at the end of his videos? I'm thinking of an album of nothing but that kind of stuff.

  • Hey Mr Weiner, I noticed that these licks used a lot by John Petrucci :P Happy New Year

  • @HnterR jejejejje

  • You are amazing dude! keep on rockin Dave

  • Like always, pretty nice stuff Dave. The lick on 4:10 is amazing!!! By the way, it's been a while since you talked about the giveaway :P sorry but, i'm still dreaming about the guitar :D:D How it goes that?

  • i like your lessons but i rather hear you play...

  • Your blues jam was -too me- Jimmy Page, but faster.

  • new years resolution is to be a better guitarist :) whose resolution is that?? happy new years

  • LIKE BUTTA

  • the good thing about blues is you can play virtually any note and say it was intentional ;)

  • Anything happen to that black PRS 7? I haven't seen it on the wall.

  • Some SRV at 3:39

  • you got your new camera??

  • what was that legato lick you did at 4:08-4:14? I've been trying to incorporate fast sequences in my playing and that sounded badass!

  • Very Tasty Blues Dave, you should think about taking up guitar as a living or something :-) By the way the bit at 4.10 very nice indeed recentily beating my head and fingers agains the wall of speed and the wall is winning at the moment but keep trying i guess. nice post as always, Happy New Year

  • the multi angle adds a ton to the presentation. Rock on

  • I love your lessons! But I would really like to see some playing on time signatures. This is not a request to teach us meshuggah, but a request to teach us meshuggah-style time signatures, and how to incorporate them in everyday playing.

Of course, The Dillinger Escape Plan gets an honorable mention! :D

  • @eliten0Ob Meshuggah always uses 4/4 lol!, the catch is that they use polyrhythms on top of a 4/4 beat.

  • Should have showed us the lick you played at 2:44! That was killer compared to the other two!

Thanks for all the ROTW's throughout the year Dave. Appreciate your time and effort to make them and share them with us.

Looking forward to the first ROTW for 2011!

  • Love the 2 angle videos dave!!

good licks, those little tricks really add character to our playing!
