Y'know, I had a dream that I heard the full version of this song, at least the chorus. For some reason, the verse was a high pitched rapper. Now, the words I heard were:
"Everything's clear, drifting in sound. Into the sun, I know that time, waits for the one. Everything's clear. Love goes on, what goes on".
And it was played on a radio station at like midnight with a peppy jockey. It was weird and awesome at the same time!
After read this comment,I had a dream that looked like that. In the dream,i was watching this video, but in the dream, the video had 2:45 minutes. The music had approximately 1:00,and the rest was the guy that sing the song talking with other guys in spanish and in english at the same time(WTF?)
The lyrics(that i remember) was:
Everything's clear,drifting in sound.Into the sun,I know that time,waits for the one.Into the sun.Evertything's clear(x3)
@DrawkProductions Obs: At the 2nd time of the chorus, some back vocals(that looked like the back vocals of "Have you heard the word") started to sing the phrase "Love goes on", at the same rhythm of the "Drifting in sound", until the end of the song!
Very generic psychedelic song and doesn't sound much like any of the beatles voices. Most likely not the beatles, and if it is them, the track was discarded for good reason. Seriously, anyone who thinks this is a great song REALLY needs to listen to more music.
"ONCE AGAIN, another pathetic fake.My goodness so many of you are so easily fooled. The singer's intonation is nothing like Lennon or McCartney. Listen closely and one can hear the non-Beatle like vibrato. The rhythm guitar isn't even "strummed" with any of their guitar styles. The "chord progression" would be closest to say "George" but he would have difficulty writing something this bland. The "mock" style here is only similar "psy" with voice/ guitar "phase shifted" or flanged. Weak melody.
@mrorangestone i mean you could be right, but i dont really think so.. but if you are i hope whoever made it will make a longer version cause im definetly likin this. i dont care if its the beatles or a fake or what. good music is good music. and i think this is good. so more please!
Gracias por los comentarios. ¿Sería posible encontrar la canción entera en alguna parte? Yo encontré este clip en un CD Multimedia de 1995 sobre los Beatles, editado por "Trebol Multimedia". I actually like this song. I can't tell if it's the Beatles or not, but the voice definetely sounds like John. I can't understand it much, but I hear something like "Everything's clear...Drifting in sound.." That's all I could make out. That may not even be right
This song's elusiveness just makes it more awesome.
Who told you this was the Beatles?? It doesn't sound like ANY of them!!!! It sounds more an Ohio psych band you'd probably ALL like called, The Pillbugs. They tend to have a psych era Beatles sound.
Im sure it just sounds like this because its got flanger effect and probably several other kinds of effects going on..... dont assume right away its not the Beatles because it sounds different
@alexflyers its probblly not or is the beatles you cant tell me that i for shure hell know who john is he is my favorite artist of all time i constantly listen to his music every day all day since i was a beatles fan you can tell me i dont know who john is I FUCKING KNOW WHO HE IS YOU CANT TELL ME THAT!!! thanks
I hte to break it to you guys. but this is Lennon . more than likely frying on tens of thousands of mics of some heavy white lighting or some shit. He use to tape a whole bunch of shit while he was chilling on his meds. Johnny and the Moon Dogs Rock!
I would say this is not Lennon singing: 1st (like everyone of you, I guess) I got his voice in my head, and from the very start of the "demo" I thought it was not him. Second: I have never heard John playing guitar in that way even in a home demo. It sounds like Oasis in the early days. I´m not saying is Oasis´, but, definitely, not The Beatles.
@Beatlecam the Beatles did use this style of guitar playing in Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, if you listen, it starts when John sings 'cellophane flowers of yellow and green...'
@Niardnaenihsnus You mean the tempo in "Lucy...", and I agree with that. But I mean the way up-down / up-down without making sound when you are lifting the hand. I´d say this is not John playing a demo. It could be the only record in wich he plays that way, and this point makes me doubt. If you hear his demos, he always runs flowing the guitar sound; no marked rhythm... And I finally think it´s not Lennon´s voice, and even the way of "talking"... Think this is another guy.... :(
John! No you dummy! Real! Fake, you idiot! That's them! No way, Jose. Shut up. Yeah? Make me! Why you bum! Ow! All right! Oww-ww! "...All we are saying... is give peace a chance!"
ça me dit quelque chose....mais quoi? je ne sais pas............je crois que je l'ai déjà entendu dans un de mes rêve......je ne suis pas sûr..........
@Corrol132 Yeah. I thought it was John at first, but if you listen to one of John's songs and then to this guy there are differences in the voices. Still, I'd really like this song. I don't think It's a fake song, but it isn't a Beatles song.
@jesusmaniac1990 well i have a book at home called "complete beatles recording sessions" and it mentions a sgt peppers session with an unreleased song that has a guitar with a vibrato effect. this sounds exactly like the session. john lennon used to give friends copies of sessions, thats how whats the new mary jane became a bootleg (whats the new mary jane, a white album outtake, was officially released on the beatles' album "anthology 3")
I'm a musician and big Lennon fan. This sounds to me like the angelic, mystical John Lennon, and I agree with the person who thought it is him with a flanging device on his voice. Really inspiring, would love to hear the whole song.
By the way, try playing this backwards, it reminds me of these five songs: "Across the Universe", "Real Love", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Hey Bulldog" and the Beatles' legendary lost song "etcetra"
@FriedChickenofDeath6 I want to hear it too, it is the most legendary unreleased Beatles song, even more than "Carnival of Light". All unreleased songs can be found on YouTube, but Etcetra is still unknown. It was recorded the same day in 1968 as "Mother Nature's Son" and the bizzare "Wild Honey Pie" were. But it never resurfaced. The only person who might know is the song's singer, Paul McCartney. But i'll tell you one thing, it was a ballad.
@FriedChickenofDeath6 A good way how to get Beatles outtakes that weren't included on the "Anthology" CD's is on YouTube. If you get a PC mike you can record the song to a Media Player file and burn it to a CD. That's how I burnt the unreleased "Get Back" album by The Beatles". But i'm not sure if it might be Etcetra, because I read it was taken by either George Martin or Paul McCartney, and McCartney noted in 2008 that he burnt it, but it could be. If it is, put it on YouTube :)
@FriedChickenofDeath6 I'll name the ones that werent on the "Anthology" CD's: Carnival of Light Sour Milk Sea Goodbye Bad to Me Suzy Parker Child of Nature Suicide Everywhere It's Christmas Get Off (White Power) Watching Rainbows Now and Then (was unreleased by John Lennon) ...and a lot of the Get Back sessions! There you go.
@Burromovie Thank you! Really! I'll try to find these songs...
On Carnival of Light I'm making some progress. I found a man that has a tape (Idon't know if it's real or fake) and I'll try to buy it. Let's see what I can do!
Give a look at this link. It's a CD with a sample of Etcetera! I can't find where I can buy it and I'm trying to download the song/album, but I can't either. You should try. If you do it, please tell me. So we'll finally hear this legendary piece!
it sounds a little like a Klaatu-outtake. Not Beatles for sure. But that's okay, Klaatu outtakes are cool too. Only not nearly as cool as Beatles' outtakes.
thats a Sgt. Pepper Outtake, because that studio technology was used in that album, and the voice it's obviously John Lennon, with a Flanger Distortion, this it's the Beatles in 1967, not an american man, the guy that say that, it's a idiot, This it's the Beatles.

@mward1995 I agree that it's not John, but how do you sing in any accent? To me, the only time an accent is noticeable in singing is when it's an Asian singer singing in English. Anyone else, the accents disappear.
@atimnie So you think someone like Roger Daltrey (American accent) sounds the same when he sings as John Lennon (English accent). Or Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney. George Harrison (Liverpudlian) or Syd Barrett (Cambridgeshire). You can definately tell an accent when someone is singing.

this song was actually recorded may 9th 1967 when the beatles recorded 5 demos, this might be the only surviving one.
the title of the song:
"love goes on"
in mark lewisons book "the beatles complete recording sessions"
he says something that on may 9th a few tracks of unplanned songs included electric guitar, harmonium, sdrums, and another song with a vibrato effect.
whoever owns the whole song please put it on youtube :)

@Burromovie Okay, but I'm trying to download it and I can't. Oh, can you list some of the unreleased Beatles songs you know? Just in case...

@Burromovie Thank you! Really! I'll try to find these songs...
On Carnival of Light I'm making some progress. I found a man that has a tape (Idon't know if it's real or fake) and I'll try to buy it. Let's see what I can do!

@FriedChickenofDeath6 paul mccartney is actually trying to get carnival of light released, but you can do that

@FriedChickenofDeath6 Thanks for doing that :) YouTube has a lot of Beatles song fakes and if you put these on, then a lot of people will be happy.

@xavierbaudet you're a funny guy, you. It sounds like an american singer to me. it definitely is not john lennon.

En el segundo 24 te das cuenta de que no es ninguno de los 4. Aunque en el comienzo tiene un aire a la voz de Lennon.

thats a Sgt. Pepper Outtake, because that studio technology was used in that album, and the voice it's obviously John Lennon, with a Flanger Distortion, this it's the Beatles in 1967, not an american man, the guy that say that, it's a idiot, This it's the Beatles.

This isn't the Beatles! It can't be John Lennon because the singer is singing in an American accent and Lennon rarely did.
mward1995 1 year ago
@mward1995 I agree that it's not John, but how do you sing in any accent? To me, the only time an accent is noticeable in singing is when it's an Asian singer singing in English. Anyone else, the accents disappear.
atimnie 1 year ago
@atimnie So you think someone like Roger Daltrey (American accent) sounds the same when he sings as John Lennon (English accent). Or Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney. George Harrison (Liverpudlian) or Syd Barrett (Cambridgeshire). You can definately tell an accent when someone is singing.
mward1995 1 year ago
@mward1995 I'd concede the point, accept that you said Roger Daltrey, a Brit, sings with an American accent, so lose points on that.
atimnie 1 year ago
@atimnie Roger Daltrey sings in an American accent that's what I was saying, because he does, even though he is from London.
