Homer, a few points on this one. First, it was interesting how it was still Burj Dubai back then. In another video, you fly by Burj Khalifa. Good to see. 2nd, when do you decide to speak vs text? In this you do text mainly, but in subsequent ones, you go back to speech. Third, it is interesting to see the old business class and old uniforms. It would have been nice to have seen your night on the town in Dubai, also. Great video, as always, homer!

I recently flew from JFK to LAX on American Airlines and then LAX to BKK on Thai both in business. What a contrast. Everything on AA was just crap, delayed 3 hours due to some technical problem, no staff to ask, the food and service was the worse i´ve had in many years. The FA did spend most of the time in the galley talking to each other. The entertainment system was broke and the seat was just awful. And yes, AA lost part of my luggage to. Thai heaven, AA hell.

I am in Denver Colorado and the only airline out is my favorite Lufthansa!!! Should I take Lufthansa all the way from Denver to Dubai, or change in Frankfort and take Emirates to Dubai? @willyboi708 Will, I would make it depending on price:) I suppose if you go all the way with LH it might be cheaper..then take it. Or check EK via San Francisco, Houston or New York. If price permits, changing in FRA is an option, too. Beautiful EK lounge there, if you fly C; though best lounge in New York. Changing FRA : only makes sense if you get the afternoon flight of EK..the night flight has usually old equipment:)

@aelex33 hey, i know im not homer3152 but i can tell you that if you on non-peak times, most business class flights are around 4,200 USD. I have flown Lufthansa first and business and believe me, they are very bad. Try something like british airways business class or virgin atlantic business class. If you dont want to spend 5,000 for virgin atlantic business class or british airways, both carriers have premium economy for a good price. Good Luck!

I was asked at check-in what seat I preferred (aisle or window) my boyfriend piped up "a first class one" the lovely lady at check-in laughed and said 'hmm let me see, ah yes no problem' and so we were up-graded!

In your movie, the cabin attendants were wearing the old uniform (blue overcoat) i flew from Brisbane-Singapore-Dubai-Doha on June 19th 2009, and they had the new uniforms. Was it maybe the uniforms werent brought out fully by June 6?
