There's a good reason why his book "the crisis of 2008" was copyrighted in 2009.. He has no f*cking idea what he's talking about!
Elinor Ostrom was finally recognized this last year with the Nobel Prize in Economics, for conclusive evidence about why the commons are managed significantly worse under government, than under poly-centric/non-despotic governance.
Please don't take offense to our criticisms. I used to have very similar beliefs.
The government is a monopoly itself and monopolizes huge portions of what otherwise is a market. You can have a market in electricity, roads, and in arbitration. This is called private property and exist before and outside of the government. All the government does when it grabs these portions of the market is that it takes from some and gives to others and creates a system of privilege for the politically connected. All of this lowers our standard of living and it destroys natural resources.
Good videography, but you are way off on your actual points. Every time the government interferes with the free market, they achieve the exact opposite of their stated aims. When they try to create jobs, they destroy them. When they give surpluses, they discourage innovation. And when they raise minimum wage, they put many people out of a job. Read the book "Economics in One Lesson", by Henry Hazlitt.
I don't see how private enterprises could not supply all of the mentioned services.

LOL. Good production values. But you really should about the very famous "Broken Window Fallacy." by Frédéric Bastiat .
You would really find Austrian Economics fun if you are interested in money.
