I bought fraps then when I try to record minecraft multiplayer it only takes a video for like.....1 minute and all the video's are in bits.....I set the Loop buffer length for 999 seconds and then there's no difference...Still records for 1 minute!

@GamingMichael I've heard of this problem before. Try changing the folder that you're saving your fraps recordings to. If that doesn't work you may want to look for another video that explains that. Sorry I can't really help you.

@GamingMichael im pretty sure thats happening because it is recording in avi. which takes up a lot of room, if you have windows live movie maker (which is free) use that to convert it too wmv. format. it takes up a lot less space and uploads to youtube 10x faster

@EditsGamer it dose in fact. you just dont know it becase it basicly gives no warning at all. you have to check through you files to find your video. that is if u pressed your hotkey to stop and save the video.

@Weinin1598 Well first confirm that 1. Fraps is running 2. you have the hotkey set to F9 or whatever you want it to be and 3. You're logged in to minecraft because it won't record while you're on the login screen. If all these are true, then I'm not sure buddy.

@xPaien Well the settings you apply will weight heavily on your preferences as well as your objective and means of achieving your objective. So you can try recording a little bit with 30 fps and maybe go to 60 or so if there's any problems. Also, it stops recording by itself because you have the trial version. You'll have to get the full version to have it record nonstop.

@ProsCantTalkTrash Well I have a couple video showing what you have to do to get your windows movie maker or avs video editor videos to youtube. You have to use some video editing program. And to answer your other question, just click on the 'view' button under the 'movies' tab next to 'change'

@ProsCantTalkTrash Hmm. well if you're looking for a free program and you have a pc, I'd go windows movie maker. It's simple and easy to use. If you have some money to spend and maybe want an editing program that's good for montages and stuff, then sony vegas 11 pro is for you. And it's no problem really, glad to help.

@Ultisymo ok thank i i did find all that and it works great. also i did find the easy way to upload without converting it. ust drag the file from fraps onto your upload on youtube. much faster cheep and easyer.just take a year an a hafe to load it up.

@thehamzausman Well check if there's the yellow fps in the top left corner. If not then you may be running a program that fraps is not able to record.

Guys if u have the free version like me ur recordings are only allowed to be 30 seconds so when the red fps is off and turns to yellow u need to record again

@CraftedPork Well if you convert it to another file type, it should become smaller. Let's say if you have windows movie maker, then just import your fraps movie file and save it as a windows movie maker file. This cannot be uploaded to youtube, however. So from there you'll have to convert it to WMV or something able to be uploaded to youtube.

@CupCakeEaters123 Well I've never had that problem. Try restarting the program, or even your computer. If it persists, I'd check their website for some tips and if all else fails, re-download it.

or any application. While fraps is opened press the Shortcut key to start recording.

Well that's because you have the TRIAL version. What you need to do is get the free full version. So just google 'fraps full version for free' or something like that, download it, and you'll be good to go.
