I used to take NJ Transit all the time until recently. Some of the employees like the drivers and conductors are nice and friendly while others are just plain out rude! It is too bad NJ Transit is more focused on North Jersey cities. I live in South Jersey and unless you are in a major town, you are screwed! Better find your own transportation especially if you live out in the middle of nowhere!
you saw the entrance to the tunnel,2 or 3 mc 9's......yeah,now it's a madhouse of D series,Great commercial, great job MCI for owning the industry, and lets just hope transit gets it self out of it's current financial situation so the can some day make more commercials.Good ones like this of course
Is the song in this commercial by Enya? It sounds like her. I love this commercial though and not just because I work for transit, lol. I remember seeing it when I was younger
@Colortiniz Ant the interesting theme is that this version is still in use today. Whenever you call up NJ Transit for bus information and you're put on hold for the next available representative, this song, but in a different key, is the hold music, along with deals and general information.
Most people don't realize NJ Transit is a bus company. Anyone remember Public Service? That's why the fares always follow the price of oil. It's not because they run ELECTRIC trains! I'd like to see rail service to Cape May and the direct service thru Hoboken restored.
Some nice shots of the old Eagles and MC-9's! Btw Nummytown is in Cape May County near Rio Grande and Villas... the 552 bus passes through that area on Route 47, but "Nummytown" is not listed on the schedule.
Nor will it ever.. because if it listed all the little towns and such ..like Green Creek, Del Haven, West Cape May, and so forth, you would have a small novel sized timetable, and last time I checked, I cannot fit that many in the holder in front of the current D4000's that run the line. XD

Nice shot of the buses bypassing tunnel traffic, probably the best way of persuading customers to take the bus.

@MasterKhem Sounds like Enya's "Far and Away" but probably a version not too close so NJ Transit wouldn't have to license the song.
