@PeaceLovesEarth Cookie cutter or mask the person out, then you're left with a black space where they were. Get another piece from that scene, such as the sky or the grass, cookie cutter it and then move that layer to fill the black space where they were. If that makes sense?

@PeaceLovesEarth You can't cut around them perfectly, you'd have to mask them out but I don't have this. And the other bit doesn't leave another black space because it's another layer, you just take another layer and move it along to fill the hole. It's most obvious on the one at 0:14 ish, the bush just repeats itself.

@PeaceLovesEarth Yeah so on the top layer, cookie cutter the person out. Then on the bottom layer just move the pan/crop thing so that it's left or right a bit to leave the background behind where the person was. You can't use any colouring on either layer or the circle will show :\

@RedPaperBlossom Thanks very much! But the video isn't exploring it as if Lily 'didn't exist', she does exist, she's just been Obliviated from Severus' mind. So she's still alive, but he doesn't know about her or her influence on him, and he never loved her. You know, the spell Obliviate, to make a person forget something, or someone? :)

Wow, what a great idea. And of course your editing was amazing. I loved Lily vanishing. Erasing her name from the grave was so sad. And I loved the clip of Snape standing in front of the trio before disappearing. And that little flash of Harry at the end of DH during the dueling club scene really highlights how much the series interconnects . :)

It's about a doctor who invented a method to make people forget a person they want to forget and the protagonist wants to forget his ex-girlfriend, but during the deleting process he changes his mind and tries to rescue her in his memories.It's quite sad, but wonderful and the cast is awesome!

Holy crap!! You have no idea how amazing this is. The idea is so original. I adore the way you played with the sound because it added to the oblivate effect with the fact that you wouldn't hear part of it in one ear which kind of mirrors Snape's loss of memory. @PerfectAmbiguity It was meant to just flicker between headphones, like with Hermione speaking at the start, it's in your left ear and then moves to your right ear, so it's closer like she's actually whispering in your ear. I dunno, I was just trying to make the music more 'involving' lol. It's not meant to go silent in any parts, that means one headphone isn't working D:

OMG you had an excelent idea!! :O And it really makes you think about it: Harry would have died for the first moment he was attacked ._. He would have been unprotected forever, maybe Dumbledore would have done the best for him and getting the way to lead him to his expected death, but that wouldn't have been enough for keeping him safe, Snape is his best protector and always will be, keeping Lily's memory alive until the very end :')
