  • ... This exact storm caused a HUGE crash on one of the interstates. My grandma had a CRAP ton of people come in her restaurant because of it. x.x

All the truckers that couldn't go on because of the crash and monsoon. I hate these so much. :l

  • Just a thought (not a nice thought, btw) but I would recommend Arizonans keep themselves aware of a possible Valley Fever epidemic. I am sure there was uncountable trillions upon trillions of spores in that massive monsoon cloud.

Good job of holding the camera steadily.

  • Need a collosal Swiffer duster to fight it.

  • The Great Dustbowl and the Great Depression.... history does repeat itself. Especially those who ignore lessons from the past. You topsoil and your dollars are blowing away in the wind. end the Fed, end big agribusiness, remove 70% of congress and the president. $15 Trillion in (on book) Debt.

    Sheeple!

it's like the dust bowl all over again...

  • ахринеть америкосы впукались)))

  • I didn't even know this could still happen. (cuz of the farming stuff that happened in the 1800s and early 1900s causing the dust bowl) I don't think that is nearly as big as the dust storms were back then, though. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • They're preparing future catastrophes by testing Haarp

  • TODAY'S REAL TEMP IN PHOENIX IS 117, BUT WEATHER.COM SAYS 106. EVERYONE LIES SO HORRIBLY.

  • chuck norris sneezed

  • @rpasillas13

good effort, but that joke fails

  • This happened probably because of the burning of the fireworks i thinkk its just an educated guess, too many people burned it too much

  • fuck the cow bell, more whistling!

  • @samstlifer1 lol :D

  • so what happens when you are inside your house, how do get in and out or have AC on and stuff like that

  • @Ladue11 Good question. You actually close all of the doors and just remain inside. There is no leaving the house...also, with the AC, we had to simply replace the filters and so far it has been working good.

  • @BestofVideoGames

Isn't it had to breathe though with all that dust around?

  • wow man i remember seeing tht out my door too ^^;

  • never experienced any of this, but im guessing car washes must have been busy the very next day lol

  • @rkenshin0922 Yes, there was actually an entire news segment on this yesterday! I guess people had to wait 40 minutes just to get their cars washed.

  • @TrailsofArizona it must be an amazing experience but at the same time scary. if someone that didnt know what that is and saw that, they'd think it's the apocalypse! lol. thanks for sharing man!

  • @rkenshin0922 Yes, exactly...the only reason I knew it was coming was because I turned to the weather channel and saw the live coverage and was like, "I wonder if this is outside right now!" So, I ran outside and, bam, there is was right at my doorstep!

  • That's not the biggest dust storm in the US. look up Dust Bowl in wikipedia that went from the US and Canada. And help cause the Great Depression.

  • I heard vacuum-cleaner buying rates increased significantly in the affected area

  • I got stuck between gilbert and sancaton on the way back to casa grande. I stopped off the road to wait it out. I was out where there was no cover at all. It was exciting It lasted about 45 minutes.

  • @92acooper Good to hear to made it out safely because being on the road during it was a dangerous place to be.

  • If you whistle one more time

  • How long did it last??

  • @pinoybreaker23 I would say about 45 minutes. It lasted a long time.

  • How long dud it last???

  • @pinoybreaker23 Probably around 45 minutes.

  • Amazing footage thank you!

  • We have them every year!

  • @MsZape72 That was my first one. Many people are telling me this is the biggest one in the last 30 years.

  • @TrailsofArizona i was there in gilbert to cuz i live there now it was a mile high btw dang it got dark fast didnt it

  • that fun

  • I was in my pool nd it was really hot so I went in side my house to get a drink nd when I went out side the sky was dark I was like WTF

  • Thanks for posting this. I grew up in Mesa, and lived for 5 yrs in Gilbert. The dust storms were always very exciting growing up... mostly because it meant we might get rain at the end of it :)

I live in the Seattle area now, so, no dust storms ;) I do miss the thunderstorms of the monsoon season...

  • @snowflower3935 Yes, they are very exciting! We did not receive any rain though and needed it bad. Hopefully next week or this weekend we get something.

  • @TrailsofArizona hey what neighborhood is that i think you live near my uncle last name beecroft last i heard of him he was living in a neighborhood that looked just like that
