I just love this nasheed, I was looking for it since a real long time and when I finally found it (alhamdulilah) I feel so thankful to allah. Its all because of the singer who reads the nasheed very nicely mashallah that I feel like keep on listening to this nasheed, I enjoy listening to it so much mashallah and at the same time helps me learn Arabic with english subtitles.. May Allah have mercy on the reader(Sami Yousuf) in this world and in the hereafter... :) Ameen summa Ameen....
My intention is not to put down ne1 including the artist here..but rather to try n maybe remind people or make them realize this point.. if someone has a valid point that maybe i have over looked or have not thought of or come across, then please do share it with me as no one is perfect and we should always be striving to increase our knowledge.
I just hope that by creating or listening to these nasheeds in order to gain the pleasure of Allah, we dont instead earn his anger
CONTINUED -- now wen u have MUSIC in the background while saying ALLAH'S most pure name or the PROPHET's (SAW) pure name does this not then become WORSE then listening to unislamic songs without their mention? At least the music is not in conjunction with Allahs name in the unislamic songs.
i realli appreciate wut Sami is doing and trying to get people to remember Allah, that part is without doubt good. But what bothers me is the fact that music is clearly forbidden in Islam, yet he joins music with zikr (rememberance of Allah). The reason we are not supposed to listen to songs is not because of the lyrics (although this cud be so in some cases) but rather because of the MUSIC in the songs.
