Yet another WB cartoon that uses Raymond Scott's "Powerhouse". This time Stalling uses the opening, bridge and closing sections instead of either of the two major themes.
The only thing that could make this better would be Abbott and Costello actually voicing the characters. Oh well. Mel Blanc does a really good Lou Costello. It's too bad these two characters are never used in any of the Looney Tunes movies or games.
A great classic indeed, but this is a censored version where Babbit Hypnotizes Castello to act like Rochester calling Jack Benny. Hopefully the cartoon will appear in a later DVD release.
Hilarious cartoon! As a side note, in your "tags" you should change "babbit" to "Abbott" and change "castello" to "Costello". "Babbit" is the a sound-a-like for Abbott's last name. The mice are patterned after the comedy team of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. Mel Blanc is the voice of the Costello mouse and Tedd Pierce, a writer at the studio, is the voice of 'Babbit'.

It's sad to see such a great animated classic brutally censored by the P.C. Goon Squads.

Just like in the movies: Costello is to dumb to have him under hypnotezing controll XD!
