  • I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I definitely need Zeno as part of my team. This is such an impressive piece of technology, something i have dreamed of having ever since i was little.

  • Zeno, you touched me.

  • First we get aibo from sony and now robokind! both look really cool anf perfect for someone to have it.You can actualy collect them both to have him with his doggy! but its a couple of really expensive toys if they planing on release those as toy line.

  • Childs Play meets terminator.. meets robo soccer...wooh!............

  • Get all of the robot companies together, they could built Data & have Brent Spiner provide voice

  • Gooood Job HAnson robotics staff!!! an special greet for David hanson !!

mr Hanson, i think your next step is creating a Geminoid from yourself !!

  • If they lets drop too much the price they could going bankrupt as the company who created Pleo the robot dinosaur. They selled pleo in 450US$ but they should correct the price. For thus a small company had to be between 900 and 1100US$. The research is expensive, robotics is still a science not finished so most of the advances in robotics comes with money coming from selling cars and motorcycles (Honda, Toyota), telecomunication (NEC), a small pure robots company has it hard.

  • I like to see when they are capable of counteracting inertia when finishing motion, this should be up to the robot to perform. It looks clunky otherwise.

  • Mann i almost started crying at the end cause i cant get one i want it to be on my teamm :'(

  • 2:51 Sooooooon......

  • @impacarnage Skynet...

  • This is the start of Skynet

  • ....but can it love? lmfao

  • Why is it all mad

  • sad upset waiting on this for 2 years now going on to 3 years in the beging selling for 300$ now 10 to 15k i guess i have to wait another 3 years! I still think think Qrio from Sony was so high tec and it looked cool too!

  • @TheWhitesocks2008 Dude, same! ive been waiting forever, i thought it was 200$.. Geez. :/

  • very clever technology! Myself, I think I'd get more enjoyment playing with a pet or toy figure though =)

  • look forward to the newer models ;)

  • Wow....from $300 to $10,000. That's a pretty steep jump...Wow...I was so looking forward to Zeno too...

  • Dont worry guys it will be much cheaper in a few years when they have even better ones our

  • i like robots NOT to look like humans, i find it creepy.

  • Wow been waiting on this robot for 3 years. and they went from $300 for one, to a cheep and affordable $10,000-$15,000.... WTF id rather buy a car, and its just bull how they said for years there would be a mass consumer model made.. and it went up in smoke...

  • it just has the same voice as NAO, freak ^^

  • $15000 :( That's not what I'd call an affordable small-sized robot!

Wake me up when it has a $499 price tag.

  • so it can't make me a sandwich

  • when will everyone be able to buy one at a cheaper price the S399-S1500. price range?

  • These are hardly Chuckies. They're beneficial. They're also not the consumer product versions that David Hanson promised earlier. These are higher-priced models. The more affordable consumer product will be available later. But I wish that I could afford this model -- and I wish it wasn't tethered to wires or a cable.

It makes me a little sad that I can't afford Zeno, due to more pressing financial obligations. I've wanted a real robot since childhood, and that's been for quite some time now.

  • I would by one for... no more than $75.00! C'mon people, it's only a toy. Get real. Servos? high def cameras? so what; who wants a chuckie for 15.000?

  • @linkspyder $75? it costs thousands to make this thing! obvisouly your poor

  • @linkspyder You obviuosly don't realize the technology it takes to make a machine like this. It's not something you find at wal-mart or toys-r-us. It's alot more than just a toy. 75 dollars is the price you would pay for a servo found in a hobby shop similar to the 25 + servo's this robot has.

  • @CJBroesky 75 dollars per servo?? even the most expensive Hitec robotic servos cost less than that.. Of course Zeno is a lot more than just a toy and I am really glad that there are companies out there that have shown interest in such robots, but I don't get why it's so expensive.. I guess just because they can..

  • @neronelbp The price for one actually went up from around (ORIGINALLY) 300$ to over 10,000$ for the FULLY functional one (walks, talks, etc). They got different versions for different prices. The cheapest version i think is 7 grand but all it does is talk to you and moves it head. So really your paying 4 to 5 grand for the one that has a few extra servo's in it's legs and arms for the full functional one. NOW it's overprised!

  • I LITTLE higher than the original price of $299, LOL.

    But still VERY cool.

  • @g4macdad I'm pretty sure they weren't planning on using high-end Dynamixels originally. That alone puts it into a 'research bot' classification.

    Very cool stuff! Great video.
