John, thank you for posting this up here..(BBC Newsnight is just above the chair, and below the hanging towel) haha! I will be taking over to Sheffield tomorrow to show it off to Kirsty Wark and all the production team working on the BBC Newsnight special. I think they will be astounded at the quality and time and patience you spend on such work, and I hope you get more work from it!
You are a genius, and, again thank you for my picture.
Yeah great result, another happy customer! You should try and get more work hung in bars and restaurants. You have such a unique style, you just need more exposure! Thanks for this!
So far I've had about 4 exhibitions in public places like bars and cafes.I will try and have a few each year but I get most my comissions from social networking sites, especially myspace. Do you do public exhibitions?
@JohnPurchaseArt Twice a year in my area there are art fairs and i exhibit my work. Set up a stand and sell art directly to the public. I usually get comissions from that. I also sell through a gallery (mainly large works only)and small works i sell online through various networks. The main one for me being Etsy!
congrats on your sale jp...... i would think vincent spent more than a week on the foot panel.....i'm not sure but i don't think he would have put his work under glass.....in fact all in all vincent had a rather tough time of it.......that goodness he just kept on painting............he taught all of us an important lesson........art lives on..........
I doubt Vincent spent more than a week on a picture, he was a really fast worker,He could paint a picture every day. The work is under acrylic plastic, not glass. I need to cover it because it's made from paper,.
How much was the commission? Awesome use of color on the floor.

Very nice piece, John! If it is so bright filmed, then it must be brighter in real life.
