The KG-99 TEC-9 was manufactured from 1985 - 1990 before being replaced by the TEC-DC9. It was the AB-10, which is basically an updated version of a TEC-DC9, that was only made for one year before Intratec went out of business in the US after the TEC-9 and its variants were banned.

@officertoucher Nope all full auto machine guns made befor may 19th 1986 were grandfathered into the market after the 1986 machine gun ban. To buy a machine gun you have to buy a 200 dollar ATF tax stamp and pass months of background checks. But i believe tec-9s werent made until 1985, so there is a limited number of full auto ones that are legal.

I love my Tec 9's. I have the pre-ban like yours as well as the AB-10 model. I think the people who hate on these are just jealous that they don't have one. Contrary to some reports, mine are accurate and I've never had a feeding problem. I think that was a campaign of misinformation designed to stop folks from buying them.
