Yes, true. It is not a religion like others. We say Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu (let all hamanity live happily), and Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu (let the entire world live happily). There may be differences of opinion. For eg, a Brahmin group in North India worships Ravana, while others worship Ram! So what, as the Master says in the video, nothing here is heresy!!

Sure our Hinduism is pure but is not every other religion? Every other religion starts from the one 'light' he speaks of. It's only people that give religion bad names. Contradictions do not root from religion but from poor mentality of people.

its normal for Hinduism to have contradictions because there was A) no central authority in Hinduism like other religions and B)Never really considered itself a dogmatic religion or even a religion for that matter! it was a way of life before the British termed it a "religion"

knowing this one can appreciate the many fine philosophical thoughts that come forth from Hinduism without comparing it to super authoritative religions like Islam

You find the same contradiction in any Polytheism religion like that of the Greeks, Roman, Chinese, The Americas.

There actually aren't any contradictions due to the timelessness of the philosophy in Hinduism. There is only misinterpretation. Hinduism is a changing religion/philosophy that adapts to the changing times. Since lifestyles change throughout time, religion must change to account for this and the development of the inner-self (which is the root solution to all problems).

Thus contradictions aren't apparent as great saints have been adding to the religion (Upanisads) to reinterpret the Vedas.

Hinduism teaches: 1 + 3 = 4 2 + 2 = 4 0 + 4 = 4 3 + 1 = 4 4 + 0 = 4 5 - 1 = 4 etc etc all are correct. there are different ways, but same destination. Actually there is no contradiction.. some people think only 1 + 3 = 4 and other possibilities are just contradictions. It forces you to search for TRUTH whatever way you want to.

As it is inclusive religion it respects every thought thats why there are contradictions ! But Hinduism is best life style to follow to live in harmony with nature and others !

do you know why? because from a young age, hindus learn humility and they unlike others do not change the words of god. Jesus Christ is god, but the bible is written by men, and the christians follow these men not jesus and so on. The vedas were changed by the brits but sages memorized all 4 and edited them back to original, along with the gita. no hindu scripts have been changed by man and if they were they were fixed. that is why we find no controdictions...god is great and likes humble people

contradictions are human. They exist even within communism and atheism. Truth is Eternal. One. And the Same. Only communications about it differ because of the narrowness of communication itself. Adaptations to the scope of the audience of that preaching is all that is as a contradiction about God. Ofcourse, social values and methods are also different betn. religions because of varying geo-socio-political situations.
