Wow man - outstanding! It's clean and technically impressive, but also groovin' right along. I also dig the fact that your grip is pretty unconventional. I saw Bill Stewart playing brushes matched back in the early 90s, and thought "Wow - it IS okay to play brushes matched". Up til then I was studying at the Conservatory level & w/Jeff Hamilton and believed that there was one "correct" way to play. I've long since come around but hopefully some other guys will see this. Excellent!
Hey Spencer, thanks alot. Ya there is alot of wrist (but the movements are quite small) especially in the left hand. But the thumb (right hand) and all fingers are also keeping everything under control. I'll post some more brush vids soon that focus on more specifics. All the best.
