  • It's alright. I think the reason that there are so many versions of Dracula is because he is the epitome of the evil and darkness that humanity is both fascinated by and afraid of. In my opinion, the most timeless and amazing character.

  • This is NOT Dracula. You know...I probably would have liked it better if it just acknowledged itself as an original story. It's sort of hard for me to look at it objectively now, because I'm ticked off that I feel like I was decieved by the title.

  • They could call it Ruthven, Carmilla, Orlock, Varney or ...Spike! It's a quite good movie, but is'nt Dracula!

  • dan stevens :)

  • Thanks for uploading this :)

  • Only the names seem to have any connection to the book... Oh well, for the sake of my love for vampire movies and Sophia Myles I'll have to keep watching!

  • this has to be the worst Dracula movie ever made....

  • This version has no real resemblance to the book. The 1977 BBC production is the gold standard when it comes to adhering to Stoker's novel.

  • I didn't realize the Beeb did anoher version of Dracula until now. I still think the classic 1977 version stands the test of time as one of the best adaptions ever filmed. Interesting how interest in Dracula never wanes... immortal indeed.

  • @AnaiBendai - the 1977 adaption must be in the top 3 Dracula productions of all time .

    Dracula ( universal 1931 )

    Horror of Dracula ( hammer 1958 )

    Dracula ( bbc tv 1977 )

Both Nosferatu films stand on thier own merit as dark fantasies and are also icons of the genre .

Then of course theres Blacula lol .
