I always felt Bush was too incompetent to be president. But as I recall, the majority of Americans voted for him in 2004. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Even then the guy had obvious issues but we still went out and voted for him. Democracy is wonderful but the voting populace needs to own up to their responsibility. This mess is OUR fault.

We both agree on something! Bush and his way of thinking briefly set us back. Americans just got scared after 9-11 and the Bush people played that card to retain power. In 2004 not enough voters could figure it out. At the time it was obvious to me, so why did the voters react to it? As Springsteen himself said, blind faith in your leaders or anything can get you killed. There are consequences to ALL Americans when they vote badly. We are the ones paying the price. Not Bush.
