  • He's not bovvered.

  • 0:31-0:32 Autotuned.

  • geekishly cut

  • It's so funny cause he was one of the most famous doctor's ever... take that Bob Mills

  • he's also peter vincent in fright night 2011

see the film to check him out .

  • his accent sounds indian lol

  • Why was I not told of this!?

  • That accent sounds like an old time-y Indian one. They still use that for Indians though... how embarrassing >.<

  • does anybody else think that he REALLY Looks like one of the weasley twins here?!

  • uh who he lol look at him then and then look at him now

  • where can I see Justine Thornton's appearance in Dramarama???

  • He souns like Apu from the Simpsons : D

  • Hes trying to put on a posh Edinburgh accent.

  • Awww, he looks even more cuter <3_<3

  • the guy at the end made me think of Catherine Tate "Am I bovered?"

  • =))

  • I can't stop laughing haha

    It's so cute..

And the even more scottish accent made me cry xD

  • it makes me sad that that was a year before I was born..... I'd still do him.

  • I wonder if that is his natural hair color.

  • It is funny because he does end up being the doctor and so if that guy who says that he was dreaming is still alive he got powned ... And I have seen the episode he was reading his cousins diary and he is from the high lands... Geez give handsome little David a break!!!

  • He was only a kid at the time. Give him a break! I saw the whole episode and he wasn't hamning it up.

  • @francakepower Haha! I was just thinking that! Totally agree :P

  • i hate it when people think he played "doctor who"

    it's THE DOCTOR.

his name is not DOCTOR WHO.

  • Err... why do these guy pick at the one scene where DT's character is mocking someone by reading his diary in a funny accent??

  • this WAS done AFTER Tennant was cast as the Doctor right??

  • WOW he was so little

  • he IS the best doctor who ever...

  • Oh my God! What a sweet boy he was! And those eyes... Amazing!

"I'm going to be Doctor Who" - Of course, you will Sweet-Alien-Boy! lol

  • I need to see Dramarama o.o He was [still is] adorable! Would anyone happen to know if you can buy it?

  • @kkmb91 You can watch the full episode on STVPlayer here: youtube.com/show/dramarama

  • David Tennant's character is reading from his cousin's diary, in his cousin's voice. His cousin is a highlander.

  • "one day I'll be doctor who.." LOL

  • The guy commenting on Davids accent watched a clip taken out of context

if he'd watched the whole of the drama he would have known why David did that silly accent.

  • omfg I didnt think he could be anymore thin

  • Rofl this was one of the funnier thing I've seen this weekXD

  • Mrs. Doubtfire? lol.

  • lol. it looks like he had on waaay to much makeup!!!!!

  • Hahaha!!!

  • hehe aww hes so cute and funny

  • lol ok sorry for my pretty dumb question

  • My God, the HAIR CUT :D Still adorable ^^ or better, adorkable :D

  • omg he is so cute! and his name is The Doctor, not Doctor Who... idiot...

  • What the hell are those people on about? I didn't see any of what they saw. Do they just hate him for whatever reason?

  • @bananas1and2 They hate him and they can't even be bothered to get the Doctors name right.... it ain't 'Doctor Who'

  • @Meimi132 and @Katlando WTF, he said "You know, in the back of his head, he is thinking 'I'm going to be Doctor Who one day, im going to make so much money' " So uhm...Yeah.

  • haha love it!

  • this is hilarious!

  • With that haircut, David Tennant looks like David Bowie.

  • god!

  • Tennant looks like an honourary member of Split Enz! Cool though!

  • this is a bit left-field but what was that game show with bob mills and danny baker?

  • god! they were just JOKING. Keep your granny knickers on. Sheesh! they're not pie eaters

  • Is it just me, or does he sound indian..?

  • Who are all these fat bastards mocking the gorgeous, lithe and talented Mr Tennant?

    Waddle off home, pie-bins.

  • they are not making fun of him, though

  • holy cow his face hasnt changed lol

  • And Tennant did become Doctor Who and made a lot of money.

So how do you feel now Bob Mills.

  • I think they probably made this after he became the doctor. Sort of "mock the star" a bit . Out of cheer affection, of course ;)

  • @Namaechan After he became the doctor? Really?? No way!! That's kind of like saying they knew Hitler would kill 6 millions Jews AFTER WORLD WAR 2, you twazak!

  • @IDNH The "cheer" affection didn't give me away?

  • @Namaechan Except that this was in the 80's and he became the Doctor in 2005. :)

  • @operageek65 I'm talking about the collection.

  • @Namaechan Oh, definitely. :)

Some people are certainly giving some snarky comments here...

  • -Im going to be doctor who one day-sighs-im going to make such alot of money!-CRIED LAUGHING!!!! ROFL!!!!

  • @CrazyGood88 ill be a companion! we might work together!

  • @ghoulia21 LOL! brilliant! ;-)

  • he was 17 here, my age lol

    soooo hot

    he just doesnt age

  • OMG

    hillarious

    thanks for putting up

  • Well Well Well

Look who's grown up a bit

    :)

  • Oh god, he has the same hairstyle as my mum D:

  • hes putting an indian accent on. His Scottish one is completely different if you watch Takin over the Asylum.

  • lol a Scottish person putting on an even more Scottish accent XD!

  • Brillient as ever

  • That's hilarious! He's always had a Scottish accent but it is even stronger there! :D

  • When he says, 'All around the house,' he sounds like Shrek!

  • I haven't seen "Croftmore" but I'm guessing that David's character is taking in mick out of [ie mocking] the text he's reading aloud, or is making fun of the person who wrote it. He's acting! As for his accent, David's lovely soft West of Scotland accent is probably far less strong now that he's lived away from Paisley for so many years. It must have been stronger when he was a teenager and still at school.

Thanks for putting up this video! Loved seeing it........:)

  • I am very sorry, but he looks like a girl there, he doesn't in anything else i've seen him in, please don't take offense, hell I like David Tennant, he's one of my favorite actors but still...

  • he looks like a girl because he's playing a character who's transexual

  • really? ok, I didn't know.

  • a scottish man putting on an even more scottish accent! Dead on! LOL

  • when he said "all around the house" that just sounded hysterical! aww he looks so different their than he does now lol xx

  • That phrase cracked me up as well! He sounds almost Indian with that accent! What a wise-arse! LOL :D Teenage David - lord, his parents must've had their hands full with that precociousness! *squee*

  • What was this from? A documentary about David Tennant?

  • No, not a documentary about DT. It was a program about movie and TV stars "before they were famous", showing debut acting roles and appearances in home videos, TV commercials and the like.

  • omg his soo young

  • omg he looks so cute !!!^^

  • Ohhhh he's only like seventeen!!

    He looks so cute :)

  • aww what a nice thing to say dt is me cos!

  • I could kill that fat guy at the end!! DT's scottish! omg though 1988!! he mustv'e been 16 or 15!

  • Hehe!

  • I think that the last person is completely wrong. Yes, Mr. Tennant did want to play Dr. Who all throughout his life but, from interviews I've seen him in and from when I met him he came across as loving making little shows like this, he is bothered, I think that the last guy is extremely jealous of Mr. Tennant's success.

  • LOL

aww bless him, he did sound a bit indian when he said 'all around the house' lol. his hair was BLONDE?! OMG, thats a shocker lolz

he was not tht bad looking there, a bit average, now hes god damn sexy xD

  • i think they are just jealous of David because they are not in dr whoDavid looks so cute in that clip

  • I love DT but that did sound a bit Indian. Especially the "all around the house" bit. Lol, bless. :D And I agree his performance in Midnight was just superb. One of my favourite pieces of TV ever! (Midnight, I mean, not Dramarama.) ;)

  • I agree with you "juicyjuicy73". I put the clip up with the comments because I thought they were funny. If you know Scottish accents "havering1", you'll know David's REAL Scots accent sounds nothing like that, and furthermore, not much of a Scots accent at all. I'm sure he'd be the first to admit it's not BAFTA-winning. It by no means is meant to detract from the fabulous actor he now is, and rightfully acclaimed Best Doctor ever. His performance in series 4, ep. 10 - Midnight, was AMAZING!

  • I agree, his acting in Midnight was the best face acting i've ever seen. Giving so much emotion away just using his eyes...i mean it was just amazing. He just gets better and better.

  • @lozzy31 Agree *completely*! It was Midnight that solidified me as a true admirer of Tennant. Which is beyond being a fangirl...I truly admire his *massive* talent.

  • to be fair, I love David but that accent was a bit weird!! It started off a bit Indian, and then he started to sound like me when I try to do a Scottish accent! Bless. Now he is perfect, of course ;)

  • Who are these know-all no-nothings?!!?

Who are THEY to imply that his accent was wrong, that his performance was hammy and that he was not taking the "Croftmore" gig seriously ?? ::boggle:: David was about 15 or 16 years old at the time, IIRC, for heaven's sake!

AND David Tennant is the sort of person who takes ALL his work seriously, because he loves it and has pride in it and, as well as that, he's got what's called integrity.

Stuff these critics with breadcrumbs and hot chillies, I say.

  • Uhmmm, excuse me... "first acting job", 16 years old, hasn't gone to RSADA yet... got the role... had a director, no doubt, telling him what he wanted... is Scottish, ergo the accent... who the hell are these morons to be discussing DT's childhood performance and what the HELL has it got to do with the man today??!!!!

  • well they are obviously more popular than him, hence feel that they know what they are talking about....and thats all it is...they think....have you ever read Tim Teeman's articles....I think he should learn to improve his work before making comments on other proffesions....
