  • Hey, you should put a link in the description as to where to get the backing track :D

  • @cerealkiller65 Will do! :)

  • I watched one second and can tell you play with your heart. Keep on going, for love is all that matters in this world you know! Left a vid response for you :) check out my channel too sometime.

  • @MusicalRambo wow thanks!! :)

  • nice feel and creativity

  • thanks! :)

  • can you send me the tabs- I'm working on a G major song but I'm used to using the minor scales...it is my first major song

  • hi

no sorry, i don't have a tab, I just made it up on the spot :)

  • @tyka2000 If you are playing in G major, try using E minor and see how that works for you... maybe even A minor. Try to accentuate the notes of the chords that are in the song, but this method should work. Why? The notes of E minor are the same as G Major. Yes, really! The notes of A minor are the same as G myxolydian. Yay, theory!

  • @paulhb Thanks :)

  • dude, you are a creative man! You make up some sweet licks here. A little tip: the bending! Like justin says, bending should be in the wrist, NOT by extending your fingers. I saw Slash live from the front row this summer, and I saw how he bended, NO fingers, just wrist! feels strange at the start, but when you get used to it its much easier AND you will be able to do cool bend vibratos! =) keep it up man!

  • wow, thanks! i'll work on my bending :)

  • Hi, just listened to this and noticed that you play with a good sense of harmony and many of your little licks and phrases and nicely melodic.

    :-)

  • Hey pretty good. The bends need some work, but I have the same problem too :). Really good effort. Like close2u said its hard to solo for 5min. Also, you could try some licks in the Am pentatonic scale to give a different sound if you like. Your definitely on your way and I predict you will progress quickly based on this video. Good job.

  • Thanks :)

  • Thanks, it's really helpful :)

  • Hey, great effort on a very ambitious task. Improvising for five minutes is not easy. Now you've set yourself a first marker point you should come back to it from timie to time.

Keep working on your scales, play them up, down back to front, in triplets etc. Keep learning and using licks and phrases so they become part of you. Keep on with alternate picking. All the good stuff that Justin teaches. I am sure you will be amazed at how quickly you develop the skills.

    Keep on keepin' on!

    :-)
