Just to point out some major issues with most statements. First off the Calendar doesn't just end, It was there count down to the end of the 5th galatic day (a galatic day being 5,125 day) at the end of the 5th era, this era. The 13 eras of the "Enlightened" ones begins. The mayans never said the world was going to end thats just how most people choose to run it. Y2K also was nothing alike, that was based off the fear that since we were lazy and used 2 digits, example 90 instead of 1990 that
