  • @Sprayboy777 Agreed. I use a 10 pound cause that's the only dumbbells I got but with the 10 doing these exercises for 8 minutes straight puts a toll on your arms. So whoever is reading this, use at least 10 cause using nothing or those damn tomato cans won't really do much for your arms.

  • @wsupbrandon depends on who you are. if you're bigger or trying to really work your arms that's probably true, but i'm a 112-pound girl and i just want to tone my arms lightly, so this works perfectly for with 3-pound weights.

  • @filiplttt hmmm At first I only used 1.5kg weights, by the second month I switched to 3kg, I'm a girl so I dont' want huge arms, I just want them toned that's why I don't add more weight.

  • @cat18pb You probably would want to use lighter weights than normal. Maybe 5 pounds each would be fine. I don't see what's the problem with big arms though.

  • @cat18pb umm actually to not get too big of arms you would just use a lighter weight or only workout to this video when you feel your arms are getting more flabby

  • I'd also recommmend the 8 minute core abs, buns, legs, and arm videos. Just make sure you type in the "core" part when you do your search. I like to alternate between these and the core videos to add a little variety :)

    or do it like me and buy these 10kg (~20 lbs) take-apart dumbbells (e.g on ebay, note: I do NOT want to advertise here) I started in January with 3,5kg / 7lbs, 45 degree lateral raises and hell of a muscle ache and do 7,5kg/15 lbs without aching muscles (but not "easy" either) now

  • Did this every day in high school PE. Had a legit 6 pack. 15 years later I'm doing 8 abs, arms and legs everyday to get my swag back. Plus uphill trail cardio with 45 lbs. Its working.

  • If it seems a bit... stupid easy, try it with weights. Seriously, I tried without and I thought it was supposed to be a joke. The 8 minute ab workout is amazing though, so I can't weight (pun) to try this with more weight!
