In answer to your first question, I went back and looked at my more-complete, unedited video footage of that night. The tattoo on Shannon's back is of some lady, princess, goddess, etc. It looks like the Princess Kuan Yin to me. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be somebody specific or not. Above that on the left is some kind of bird. Above that on the right is a dragonfly.

I'm not exactly sure myself who Princess Kuan Yin is. I think she's some kind of Buddhist figure. Just Google her name for more info. And I don't want to bother Shannon just to ask her about her tattoo. She's really busy, always traveling around the world. Last I heard, which was about two weeks ago, she was in Hong Kong working on getting her dad's old home there at 41 Cumberland Road turned into a museum.

I first met Linda and Shannon when my friend/buddy/instructor Richard Bustillo (one of Bruce's students in L.A. during the 60's and later instructor for young Brandon and young Shannon in the mid-70's) invited me to the First Annual Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Seminar and Bruce and Brandon Lee Memorial Banquet in San Francisco on January 11, 1997. It was put on by the now-dissolved Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Nucleus, of which Richard was a board member. I got really excited to go to it and made sure to go.
