@omijeff1 ok really, how about we learn to speak proper english? and besides Audi has some of the lowest reliability ratings out of any cars on the market.

I own a 08 A4 Sline turbo it currently sets most of the time now.Ive been driving my 2010 Forte SX what a awesome and fun car to drive and for the money you cant beat it .We also just bought the 2011 Sorento EX. Im not going to lie if it had not been for Peter and his great reputation we wouldnt even of taken a second look at a Kia were thrilled we did !
who gives a fuck if its designed by ex german car designers,,, tested in germany or any of that bull shit.. its korean.
And its kicking asses
Im not korean. but why the fuck we care if u give credit or a good explaination of why its good. its cheap and it provides good value. instead of ovepriced hondas, mercedes, bmw, toyotas..
@BOWENSblog i agree with u , but the problem is our dealers rising the prices in crazy way , for example cadenza full option will cost 12.000 kwd while Mercedes benz c class sport package costs over 13,000kwd , so only 1,000 kwd , id prefer the BENZ .
@echukgn this is a german designed car, just so you know it was designed by one of audi's top ex chief designers peter schreyer that has now joined kia, and the design company is based in germany.
Yeah, but it's a good car and its drivers have more fun. For example, if I had the money to buy a BMW 7 series, I'd buy 1 of these and spend the rest of the dough on sex, drugs and rock and roll!
@Menck1 yeah it'll begin in march excluding europe and the US but it'll be available there in near the ends of 2010... at least certainly in the us... and it is built to replace the optima.. so why not in europe and worldwide...
Kia has an uncanny way of destroying their entire design with the wheels they stick on it... Koup SX, Amanti, Spectra SX Models, Soul +.... The hub caps are even worse. I love the cars but they need to spend an extra 5 minutes looking at the wheels before sending them out.
@rontonkinkia I honestly disagree. I really like the Cadenza's alloys and think they fit the style well. I also like the wheels on all the other models you mentioned. I LOVE the alloys on the Optima SX! The style just fits the car so perfectly.
@palebeachbum The Optima SX is a REALLY nice car, the wheels are just a compliment. Powdercoat the wheels a Gunmetal color against the Midnite Blue exterior paint and we would have a VERY nice looking car.
I have an '06.5 Optima and I like the updated '09 pretty well. Wish they had redesigned the interior too though, not just the exterior. I got to sit in an '09 SX V6, black with the black sport cloth/lthr interior. Had navigation and paddle shifters. I typically hate black on cars (so hard to keep clean), but I fell in love with this one. The wheels are like a brushed silver finish, not a real shiny finish. I like them. Really handsome car.
06.5-08 Optima was my favorite Kia until they release the Borrego. I think this Cadenza is going to rival a lot of high-end luxury cars for A LOT less money.
fuck kias. theyneed to start making their own designs and stop copying everyone else. i for one will never buy one of these pieces of shit. oh and you people who would buy one of these are idiots. they have the worst resale value out of any car out there.
The Korean cars manufacturers (Kia and Hyundai are actually owned by the same entity) have invested heavily in their cars, and the quality shows. The Hyundai Genesis winning COTY last year proves it. This looks like a nice ride for the money.
@jaman585 Koreans didn't do their research properly before bring a vehicle to America called KIA, which stands for Killed In Action in military terms. Also like how Ford didn't do its research when it introduced Pinto to Brazil, which means small penis there. ;-)
Japanese cars still beats Korean made in both quality and reliability.
@bondage2012 That's not completely true, I mean the Accord definitely beats every other family sedan in terms of quality, but to compare the Camry to the Sonata? It's basically a joke!
@TerryFilming The Accord? Most of their other products aren't even as good anymore, but the Accord is still solid. The Sonata and Optima are getting there, but the Accord is the one with the outstanding track-record in terms of quality and reliability.
@banstaman Sonata is PAST any Japanese brand. Optima is right behind Sonata. The Accord and Camry is no longer great. Accord and Camry are out of the competition now. Sonata is going to dominate the family sedan area. Plus, there's rumors out that Honda and Toyota are going to mimic Hyundai's fluidic designing.
@TerryFilming We know the Sonata and Optima are excellent sedans and there's no doubt about that, however as for reliability the Accord is the one with the established reputation at this point. Can that change within the next few years? Absolutely. The Accord looks good, it may not be as sexy as the Sonata, nor as handsome as the Optima, but it's still a good design. I don't believe that they will copy H-K's styling anytime soon. The 2012 Camry is going to be the same boring appliance.
Ma per favore!!!Il Frontale è un mix di opel insigna e volvo xc60 o s60...e il posteriore è 80% citroen c5 e 20% audi!!! Ma che è la macchina dell'IKEA?? Ridicola
yeah and it's still a freakin kia. They aren't exactly known for "high class" cars, they're known for building cheap econo boxes. They are going to have to start cheap to at least try to sell a lot and establish a reputation for themselves.
With $37k, I along with most other people would rather buy a Lexus IS, Infiniti G, or a BMW 3-series.
Correct yourself..... They WERE known for making cheap boxes. And i don't know where did you get this info from, but if you buy an M3 or Lexus for 37K, then call me so i can commit a suicide. And KIA has enough reputation already. It is the 4th biggest car manufacturer in the world for god's sake.... google it if you don't believe me. And the Designer is Peter Shreyer....... Too bad the name of the car carries a lot of prejudice still. If i put a Chevy badge on it, everyone will like it.
You can only get the bare bones IS or 3 series for the money........ And this is stupid..... You have a miserable CD player, so only you can tell your friends you are driving lexus. I would get the KIA. Yes it is not lexus, but i will have tons more equipment for the money. You can see my KIA mohave review to see what i mean. If you can get a car for 45K with this equipment tell me.
Oh ok so now I can only get a "bare bones" Lexus or 3-series. Both come standard with a lot of equipment already. These are premium cars dude, not a Toyota yaris. And you still have $3-4k to play with as far as options go if you are wanting to keep it under $37k.
OK man.... No hard feelings. It's your money and you choose how to spend them. I wouldn't buy the Lexus but that's just me. OK? No offense. I just think KIA is an extremely competitive brand. This starts to get a childish argument. All the best. :)
fair enough, btw Im not hatin on kia. I admire that they are trying to compete with the premium brands. I was just saying that for that amount of money I'd rather buy a lex or bimmer. Now if the price was lower, say mid-upper 20's, then I might seriously consider buying the cadenza.
I also think it's Kia's alternate cousin to Hyundai's new Sonata... now that ex-Audi Peter Schreyer moved to Korea his design signature's been mostly carried-over and it shows from compact Cerato and now Cadenza.
Peter Schreyer is the best designer right now in the industry! I was wondering why I like the new Kia so much, then I found out Peter Schreyer is the head designer.. Since I love my Audi A4, I might consider a Kia in the future.
Kia's alternate cousin to Sonata is Optima, which will be seeing total makeover next year. Cadenza is an alternate cousin to Hyundai's Grandeur/Azera.
Are you expecting cars to have five wheels with 2010 new-monster look appearances??
Hey I'm not trying to be sarcastic here but if you can design a car that does not look similar to ANY sort of cars in the world and does not have A SINGLE alike design features, rhen I'll give credit to you.
